এটা আমার আদি পাড়া.....আমি ১৯৭৪ সাল থেকে এই দোকানে খেয়ে এসেছি। টাউন স্কুলের উল্টোদিকে পাশাপাশি দুটো মালঞ্চ র দোকান ছিলো। ওদের দোকান দুটো মোটামুটি ১৯৭৮/৭৯ নাগাদ বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। কেস চলাকালীন কারিগর রা সিকদার বাগান এর মুখে এই দোকান টা শুরু করে......এবং এরাই আদি অকৃত্রিম মালঞ্চ। মালিক পক্ষ হাতিবাগান থেকে শোভাবাজার মেট্রোর দিকে যেতে বাঁহাতে একটা দোকান খোলে......যেটা এখনো চলছে.....তবে মালঞ্চ র স্বাদ ওরা দিতে পারেনা। কবিরাজী বানানো সবার কম্ম নয়.....সেটা এই ফুটপাথে আসল কারীগররাই বানাতে পারে। আমি এখনো সময় পেলেই যাই। Long Live মালঞ্চ❤

উত্তর কোলকাতার এই সব জায়গাতে তেলে ভাজা, চপ কাটলেট, চিরকাল সন্ধ্যার জলখাবার হিসেবেই বিবেচিত, এই ধারার কোন পরিবর্তন হবার নেই। এক সময় এই সব জায়গাতেই চরে বেরিয়েছি এখন মুম্বই তে
