State traffic you weren't getting out of that one and ANPR got you it's called Automatic Number Plate Recognition. Runs your plate plate within about 2-3 second's..costs $25k to buy the kit and another $2k to install and then remove it from the vehicle

@@brock_logic they're highway patrol no way in hell you get out of tickets from them unless you are a cop as that's their job traffic enforcement. General Duties are the ones who are more likely to let you off with a warning. Also it was 20 days past rego..no hate at him. But come on. I have 5+ regos my self and I can keep track of them how ever forgetting to get mail forwarded on etc can happen. When it comes other vehicles all people have to do is get the mods compliance plated. It's $550 or so to get the paperwork signed off and mod plate installed..now if you got the coil for the suspension, diff drops all that stuff then you got the money to get the mod plate same with wheels and off sets just stay within the 25mm each side...it same with the seats getting swapped etc all they have to do is get it all signed off and bam can't be done for it... Oh and lastly companies who sell the mods have proper paperwork that comes with it for example superior engineering....
Gotta say no matter what bramwell charge for dinner, it still sticks out as one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Dinner/drinks and a live show in the middle of nowhere was awesome. 👍🏻

Tow truck job until you get the rego sorted.
I got stung a few months ago because they suspended my rego due to Takata airbag recall and they don't notify via usual SMS and email for suspended rego. I pleaded my case that it was not fair so they did refund my $950 but not the tow truck fees.

I camped at the bend just north of Coen in late 2019. My camping spot near the vehicle crossing is now under water, due to sand movement in the last few wet seasons. A good demonstration of what a wet season flood does to rivers.

Yeah he definitely told us not to, we only had 24 hours, so he did his best and we hoped for the best, it all worked out in the end and we got that idler pulley changed too

Cops in the middle of nowhere 😅 got stung for speeding somewhere near Archer River couple years back - one of the biggest shocks of my life; red and blue lights outta nowhere, no other cars for miles and a hefty fine + points 😵💫
12:35 cops have a radar that scans the road constantly as they drive, so as it scans every plate it sees if no reg it beeps.
Some NZ cops have that system too. Not the normal cops just the highway cops who operate on state highways, pretty sure

That’s correct it’s called an ANPR System and if I remember correctly it can read up to 1000 plates per second front and back and there’s no room for error. If you pass one you’re busted.

I've camped at that lookout on my way back from the Cape.
You got off lightly with the rego, you usually get a $400 fine for no rego, and also a $400 fine for no third party insurance.
3rd party is covered for 31 days past when rego runs out, so Sam would've still had 3rd party
Darcy, check your top timing chain guide. Might have been the belt but that sounded very chain like through the camera.
The auto t chain tensioner is known to stuff out and then u chew the rest of your guides out.

Do it sooner than later as obviously if it skips a tooth your fucked😂 understandable before the Cape though, when u do get it all replaced only use oem for parts, for some reason every other timing chain tensioner always flog out within a couple thousand.
Get the boys to refresh the head while your in there, they can gum up and your right there anyway, also intake clean to unlock some free power.
4d56 in challenger/ mn triton has a timing belt, not a chain.
4n15's in paj sport/mq onwards have a timing chain

It's called ANPR - Automated Number Plate Recognition. A camera hooked up through a computer bacl to police and governmant systems scans every number plate and gives real time warnings ie: may be used in ......, may be driven by ......., and cars which are unregistered, owned by disqualified/suspended/unlicensed drivers will also flag.

I planning it with my mate for next year , we rebuilding his engine at the moment and next month we doing the same but in the same time I’m upgrading parts as I don’t trust Land Rover longevity haha nah I’m just keeping the td5 put I’m putting a bigger head and upgraded turbo and all the craps that goes with , hopefully from Melbourne to cape York it would be a blast of a trip ! Can’t wait !
