Vintage Children's Book Journal Cards | Junk Journal Ideas | Step by Step | Super Easy

Today I am making journaling cards for my junk journal. I used project life cards for the base and collaged with a variety of paper, botanical stickers, washi tape and tickets. I added some stamping using the Tim Holtz Eccentric stamp set. The focal point has been fussy cut from a vintage children's book.

I know, the vintage illustrations have a look all of their own. I have accepted that my stitching will almost never be straight!
Yes, plenty ice cream! So warm one day we didn’t even go out, and that’s very unusual. I hope you’re keeping well 🥰

Liz, they are all cute cards. Maybe you are a wee bit critical of the one. You could make another small person card and have a matched set. If you really don’t think you would use the card then maybe use it in happy mail. 😍❤️😁

They are all adorable. I think the issue with the one you don’t like as much is because the little girl image is much smaller than the others. So the proportions are not as pleasing to the eye. I think if you cut the card smaller, I think you may like it more:)
