I just listened to the other CZcams live performance she sang of this aria, and it's fabulous. But this one is even better. Absolutely astounding breath and dynamic control. And she makes it look so effortless. The beauty of those piano phrases is truly other-worldly. That opening phrase...OMG. No one sang more beautifully than she did when she was in voice. Stunning...

I adore Adriana's music. People overlook it as camp rubbish, but I find it divine, especially this scene. Breathtaking control of pianissimo here, and she sings one of the most incredible messa di voces ever at 2:58. When Caballe was singing well, she was so inspired. Everything sounded almost spiritually gorgeous.
My teacher was Colzani's cover back when they did Adriana w/ Tebaldi and Corelli at the MET in '63. He said, in the right hands, this opera ranks right up there; there's just no one around anymore to make it worthwhile or exciting.

Tiene una perfecci´n del FIATO que consiste en una gran capacidad de dosificar el aire mientras canta en que el Diafragma haga la presión imprescindible en cada momento y no más ni menos ,que no manche más fuerte para no desgastar el air en vano y que no lo haga más flojo,porque la voz se rompería, y asi alargar el canto sin apenas respirar.
