Watching this scene, I realize it explains the theme of the movie. Addie is so afraid of loss, that she avoids making meaningful relationships. It's about accepting that loss will happen, regardless, and choosing to fully live life.
This scene hits me so hard, as I recently had to put my two dogs- male shih tzu brothers, down, and the pain is still very raw. They lived a long 15 years. 2008-2023. RIP Smoky and Bandit. 🐶🐶
So sorry for your loss I remember each and every one of my beloved pets like family to me❤
What great names ❤ We have a shih tzu now and love him to pieces. Im sorry for your loss.
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
@@kristinrichmond8185 Mind if I ask what his or ner name is?

This was a charming movie. A little bit of a slow burn but worth the watch if you haven't seen it.
It's always so sad to lose a pet.🐕
Like a family member
So terrible how she leaves him alone
My cat just died today after fighting cancer....if i ever forget his memory this scene will remind me of him.
Prayers for you both...
May you find the strength in this difficult time.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. You will never forget him.
It wouldn't take much acting for me in the dog scene....I would be crying like a baby in no time 🥹😭😭
This is a great movie. Adeline would be devastated if she saw what San Francisco looks like now 😢
Spew your hate elsewhere snowflake.
The cavalier is the most lovable animal ever
I lost my Cavalier King Charles five years ago, and still haven’t recovered. Don’t think I ever will.
Imagine waking up to him ... I could get used to that!
I worked in an animal shelter and it was always so sad when pet owners had to put their animals down =( But at least they weren't suffering anymore.
It is the last loving thing you do as a pet owner, to crush the hurt in your chest because you love them so much, you can't see them suffering in pain.
I have all rescues, most rescued as puppies, two were dumped on my door step. I'm not a dog sanctuary, I just can't leave em out on the street. Anyhoot, 1 will be 14 this year, hes starting to go senile. The other is a about 20 year old chihuahua that has finally learned to get her bark back (was beaten as a puppy for barking, I encouraged her that its ok to be vocal) as she is nearing the chew toy gates of doggie Heaven. Stage 4 heart murmur, no teeth and very bad knees. Celebrity at the vet for being so old.
I really love this movie ❤❤
True this... I'm dying to be quite
Pain stakingly honest with you. But that's nobody's business
why did i watch this scene again :(
Poor little doggie ❤
I'm dreding this day when I'll have to put my furbaby down. 😢😢
Yes very sad day
you seem almost excited about it tbh
Morning breath, how romantic. I guess they jumped up that level in their new relationship.
So terrible how she leaves him alone . Dog
maybe if she took better care of her dog, it would not have had kidney failure. She left the dog alone for over 24 hours it seems.
Kidney failure doesn't happen in 24 hours. It's a genetic problem with some breeds of dogs and cats and can happen just as result of aging. The one thing Adaline can't do.
