Come and explore North Wales with us in our campervan. We've realised in all our years living in this van we are yet to explore North Wales and we are blown away by it's beauty! We wake in a beautiful wild camping spot overlooking mountains, face some winter van life realities and take a coffee break by a river. Later we explore a burial chamber (Capel Garmon), manage to get booked into a campsite (sometimes hard in winter) and we go deep underground in an old copper mine (Sygyn Copper Mine)! The next day we take on Cader Idris, an 893m peak in this beautiful area. Finally we end the episode at the pub Tom's brother runs in Fishguard, The Cambrian Inn.

If you're new here, we're Tom and Iz, a couple who have been living in a van for the last few years. We've explored Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Romania in our little home on wheels, La Bamba. If you missed any of these series you can check them out in our playlists. We most recently got back from a 10 week trip to Nepal (without the van), trekking in the Himalayas. We are now creating our UK WINTER VAN LIFE series and we would love you to join us! We usually upload on a Sunday at 5pm UK time. Our aim for this series is to get out there and explore areas of natural beauty in the UK that neither of us have been to before, getting outside in the elements and making the most of our British winter! We think winter is beautiful and we can't wait to explore a bit closer to home.

What I love about vanlife is that you literally just naturally go outside when its sunny.. when you wake up its like; Yeah I need to do the bed and oh fuck I need to stretch my legs a lil bit, so I open the doors... and BOOM. The day happens.. just lovely..
I listen to Isabelle plead Thomas to get off a Dangerous rock, saying I love you, I watch her hug her friend, and think to myself, what a wonderful persons they are. Wonder if most British people are like that. Your friendship and love are the best place I have been to.

Between the copper of Wales and the tin of Cornwall, you can produce some bronze. I think the relative prominence of Cadair Idris is 600m or so, so a goodly climb. Wales is a gorgeous place. Stay safe and get that door fixed.
Great hike in a beautiful landscape; the only places I've visited in Wales are Cardiff and Caerphilly, very friendly people there!

Great to see you in Wales. Excellent pronunciation! Keep rolling the r's including at the ends of the words. The double l's are good too. Like a long l but smile and let the air comes out of the sides of the mouth very fast. You MUST go back and visit Bedd Gelert. Sad story. The castles in North Wales and definitely Portmeirion village. South Wales is waterfall country. The largest single drop is Henrhyd falls where you can walk behind them. Deep pools at Scwd Gwladys where you can jump in. Very close to Dan Yr Ogof Caves, the largest single cavern in Europe! and Craig Y Nos castle. My mum will give you a cup of tea and show you the black mountains from her garden! Brecon Beacons of course and Hay on Wye the quaint town chock full of book shops. Beautiful beaches down the Gower.👍❤

So pleased you had good weather on Cadair Idris as when I did the walk some years ago you could not see more than a few metres all the way up and down and it was pouring with rain and blowing a gale! So it was great to see the spectacular views we missed. Lovely interesting video as ever well done.

Great vid you's. Try slightly lifting the bottom right hand corner of the door up just a little then press the button. There's a 3 prong touch connector and it's probably missing the three square contact points on the body.

Cadair Idris is so awesome - had the privilege of bivvying at the top. We approached from the other side and descended the way you came up the following morning. The lake is beaut
Hi I was there last year hiking camping loved it if you get chance go to Anglesay to a place called Newborough forest to the coast there is a beauty beach island beautiful we have family and friend live in village where my grandfather was from.

We are managing to finance our travels purely through CZcams at the moment. We are lucky that we can travel full time

@@LostInTransit yeah we’ve been working with several ski resorts and spent almost two weeks at over 2300 meters at the highest ski resort in Europe. Today we crossed through the mount Blanc tunnel though into Italy and the 15c weather is amazing! Cannot wait for a couple of months of spring weather now 😊 where you thinking of heading?
Love watching your videos, and seeing all the lovely places you both visit, and your zest for life. You might find the what3words app useful on your travels, because you can pinpoint your exact location or destination down to just 3 metres, ideal not just for finding your way, but also if you need help in an emergency.
Izzy and Tom used to use it in Ireland. For some reason, they stopped (they did give a reason, I just can't recall).
We met the tamest sheep 🐑 on Cadair Idris begging for left over pack up (which we didn’t give)

Do you use an app for the campsites and other facilities locations around Britain, which ones? Keep enjoying yourselves. ;)
We use the mavic mini 2 drone and for finding spots we use the app Park4night! Hope that helps
