My wife told me if something ever happened to her, she wanted it played at her funeral. Something did happen. Her parents wouldn't allow it cause it was too long. The night of her funeral, I backed up to her grave, popped the trunk, and played it wide open all night until my car battery died. The next morning, I was awoken by a cop asking me if I was o.k., as I laid on her grave in the splay. I told him "yes sir. I'm fine." I got up and walked home.

David Gilmour's guitar calling out to his friend Syd Barrett is just heartbreaking. I only wish they could have gotten together before Syd passed in 2006. David has said he now regrets not reaching out to Syd. But at the Barrett family request, the band was asked not to contact Syd.
