Just heard about this almost 5 years into my diamond painting addiction. đ Am definitely buying some glue dots. Thanks for the info
I just started using glue dots and absolutely love them. Thank Jade
I love your bubbly personality lol, thanks for this, I have been struggling with trying to figure out the glue dots.
Thank you so much for this video. Iâve wanted a tutorial on how to use Glue Dots
Just what I needed! I've tried them but couldn't get them to work. Your video fixed my problem! My dots were to big lol. Thank you very much!!
just ordered some of these....can't wait to try out
The folding was new to me, thank you!
Thanks so much..this was very informative.. I was wondering about glue dots..gonna try it out
I just started to use glue dots and they are fabulous! â€ïžđšđŠ
I mostly do squares & I am forever having to reload with my pink wax, blue and white tac are better but I hate when it gets on the canvas by accident. This seems right up my alley. Thank you so much for this informative video, seems like a life saver for me!
Let me know if you like them! I absolutely adore them!
Thanks for all your tips. Will try them.
Happy to help!
Thank you! This helped me a lot
Loved this! I have several different size glue dots but saw some different ways to use them! Thanks!
Do you use them in your pen? Iâm obsessed!!!
Very informative .presented very well and no annoying music clear and concise thankyou
Love your vids!
Thanks janna! I love you!
Thank you so much for sharing this and I just watched your mica powder hack. Oh my gosh miracle thank you and have a diamond painting for five years.
That was really helpful. I just started diamond painting and I was having trouble with wax residue and so I tried blue tak. Same issue! This looks like the answer to my problem! Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for this! I'm using Glue Dots now and it is working so much better for me than all of the other things I've tried. I wish I could have the scent from my Paddy Wax with it, but oh well lol
Thank you! That helped tremendously!
Iâm glad! I hope you enjoy them!
Hi Jade. Iâm new to your channel. Sorry it took me a minute to subscribe. Iâve said hi to you last couple of lives - Butterâs last live, you and I had a little laugh about her carpet. Anyhoo, I am going to buy me some glue dots tomorrow (later today - Iâm up late - canât sleep) at Joanns or Hobby Lobby on my lunch hour. I canât wait to them. Youâve thoroughly convinced me. Now for the final test - to try them out. Thanks for this video. I also just watched your Mica method video - very cool. Love from Oregon, April. đ
Wonderful, simply wonderful! And thank you kindly for SHOWING us stickiness-challenged diamond painters how to "get it done"
Thank you this very helpfulâ€ïž
Great tip
Thank you for teaching me!! Theyâre growing on me now that I know how to fill them. Also tried rolling the glue dot in my fingers before loading my single placer, I saw that on another video and it helped
Im just like you....i got try this size and that size however ive only tried the micro so far heart ....thanks for the video!!!!
Thank you so much for the thorough tutorial! You really made sure we could see everything you were doing very clearly and talked through everything. And you are fun to listen to as well!
Thank you for saying so! Iâm glad it helped they way it should!
I am having Sooooo much trouble with the glue dots Imma bout ready to give up.
Great content. I use the glue dots as well. I've had every brand out there and they all work. I make cards, as well as diamond paint, and have used glue dots for about 20 years, so they are a staple in my craft room. I didn't think about using the long line glue dots for my multiplacer, so thank you for that suggestion and thank you for sharing.
I love them! I use them for other crafts now too!
Great tutorial!! I go back and forth with glue dots! Some times I love them and sometimesâŠget frustrated with them- all user error!đ
Lol I will deal with the annoyance they are worth it đ
AWESOME, thanks! Just needed a quick now to before order some glue dots and I got a little extra đ.
Iâve done BluTac, Quake-whatever-it-is, but Iâve been hearing a lot of good things about the glue dots.
Will try to update!
Let me know! I will literally never go back to anything else I adore them!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I tried glue dots before and couldn't get it to fit right in my single placer. But after your video I tried it the way you showed and it worked for me. Thank you so much! â€
Yay Iâm so happy I could help!!!
I just tried the mini dots and I love them. Will see how long it lasts. Thanks for the tutorial.
I adore them!!!
I decided to try glue dots after watching your tutorial and I'm so happy because they work excellently! Thank you for the great video! đ€đș I was frustrated with the pink wax, blue tac and even the paddy wax because I press too hard when applying the drills. I end up getting residue on the diamonds. The glue dots are awesome for me. Gracias!đđđ
Yes! Glue dots are perfect for hard pressers like us!
Love Gluedot ! But i donât use it in my multiplacer because it was not working, but i will try with a bigger size. Thx for the video
Let me know if it ends up working!!!
This video has saved my diamond painting life! But really though, I packed away all my wax and putties weeks ago and have not looked back, and could not have without this video. One question, how do you top off your multiplacer? Could you show a video of how you handle that? I feel like i'm always struggling to make sure the full top of the multiplacer is both smooth and sticky enough somehow to work properly. I'm currently trying to master a 2 placer. Thank you!!
Thanks for the tips. I used glue dots for single placing. Now, I know why multi placer wasnât working
Ooo let me know if you try it in the multi!
Thank you good video. I think I need the stainless steal tip. Mine two micro are too much and the whole dot comes out on the drill when placed. It takes time to get rid of the sticky!.
They are great! I really like the weight they add! Getting rid of the stick first makes them perfect!!!
I know this video is a year old but thanks for the multi placing tutorial I've used micro dots in my single placer for a long time but the multi placer i was interested on how you got the dot in the placer Also the blue dots from the dollar store are permanent dots and they also have them in a green package that are clear and are labeled removable dots. Just found your tutorials and I am always interested in new hacks.
Iâm totally struggling with loading up my pen nib with glue dots itâs driving me insane Iâm just glad I donât and canât use multis Iâd go barmy lol love your energy you seem a bit mad like me lol đxx
I agree, glue dots are the best. I use the micro dots for the single placer but when I tried using them in the multi placer, it just wasn't working, now I know why. Great video, thanks for the tip!
Let me know if you end up
Trying the bigger ones in the multi placer!
Hi, I did get the bigger ones. They work great, I love them, so thank you again!
@@DSRB104 happy to help!!!
I purchased the metal 4 placer and I love it. I've been trying everything and just tried glue dots... the glue dot will not stay in the tip. :( I've tried different tips, the dots pull out with the drills. I will most likely try puddy next... but so far the generic wax that comes with the paintings lasts me longer than the silly, expensive waxes.
Have you tried pushing the dots in with your tweezers?
Honestly my favorite thing to use if I canât use glue dots is blue poster tac puddy!
@@Jadeikens Yeah, the glue dots stick to the diamond pincers of death (tweezers), and not the placer, lol. Tacky next!
@@robins_corner dang it! I wish I could help!
I just purchased my stainless steel tips as well! I LOVE them. I kind of custom-rig up my pens to my liking HAHA. I didnât like the rubber washers, I gorilla glued a metal straightener and single placer on one and straightener and slant tip o the other so far.
I saw these AMAZING (and actually cute AND functional looking) grips for arthritis, so those go on next.
But the glue dots will be a first for me
@robins_corner totally agree, paid a stupid price for putty and it did not stay in the pen, tried blu tactics as on you tube videoes nope didn't even go in the pen, I've gone back to the wax that comes with the wax in the kits, videoes saying to push the wax in the pens with tweezers is all very well but if your eye sight is not that great it's just not possible AND taking time to push wax in with tweezers just takes up too much time
Iâm going to have to try glue dots againâŠ..tried them before, not sure why i stopped.
Thanks so much for this video!!! The only issue Iâm having is getting the glue dots to not bunch up to the center of my stainless steel multiplacer tips. They work fine in the single placer, but seemed to have the same issue with the plastic multiplacers. But with the stainless steel multiplacers, the dots kinda bunch up and start to migrate towards the center of the pen, no matter how much I try to keep them spread out across the pen. Any tips?? Do I need to just start placing drills and will that keep it spread out? I do use the micro dots so maybe I should try getting larger ones?
What I do is I donât fill the multi placer but put the dots flat on top now! If you have Instagram or are in my Facebook group I can send you a picture!
Great video! I use glue dots but this was a much needed refresher course! What size would you say is best for the multiplacer? Thanks! ~ Kel
for my 4 placer i like size large!
for bigger i would go with the long size!
Great video! I joined your channel! Thanks! Ricki Liebermanđđđđđđđđ
Thank you!!!
I really like your yellow pen. Can you remember where you got it? Great video for using dots! Itâs all Iâll ever use.
I think Amazon by cateared
Thank you! @@Jadeikens
I have a kit I'm gonna do that has a huge swath of 310. Can I put glue dots in a diamond painting wheel or does that not work?
Thanks been trying to do this in the multiplacer for few days and could not even get it to stay in
Also Something that helps me make them stay in the multi is scratching the inside of the placer so it has better grip on the dots!
I have the metal ones so stuck
Single placer keeps coming out on my diamond
I want to try the glue dots, and was wondering if I could place a little pink wax in the pen first and then the glue dot on top? Then I wouldnât be wasting gludots just trying to fill the tip or the multiplayer???
I would say try it!!!
Thanks for this video. I only use glue dots, but not for the multi placers. I found that since glue dots "bounce" back, when I pick up drills with the multi placer, they can get a little wonky and end up not placing straight, if that makes sense? There can't really be any excess at all. Does this happen with you as well?
Yes! Thatâs why I use the scissors to cut it flat!
â€ïž
Touch it on your shirt. That works best when its too sticky and doesn't turn loose the drills.
Thanks for the tip. Please look for another place for your ringlight, you have rings with on your glasses and this looks strange.
You filled a steel one piece tip where did you get it? Also where have you bought your steel multiplacer 4
Itâs linked in the description box! đ
đ
đ
why would one need to remove the glue dots to only fill it up again (I am new to DP)
Over a long period of usage dirt, dust, pet hair and dander get in the glue dots and makes it really hard to be sticky
You stated you were going to link your tray, but I am not seeing it. Thank you
Oops! Search munimade on Etsy! When sheâs sold out it wonât let me share the link đ
The link to the single placer does not work
If you use your tweezers to tuck it in you don't have to top it off later.
âïž
Clever solution. And nice to have a deliberate "spill" instead of an accidental tragedy. LOL! I dropped you an email at the address at the bottom of your video description. But I might have ended up in your spam folder.
Sorry that Iâm a bit slow on responding right now! My life has been crazy the last week and a half!
@@Jadeikens No worries, I definitely understand đđ
My dots are not leaving my drills on the canvas
You can prime it if they are to sticky, just tap it on clothes or the back of your skin to prime
I have....multiple times...đ
