Cruise Ship Ambassador Ambience Encounters Very Stormy Weather during our September Cruise to Canada

The Ambassador Ambience was heading to Canada via Greenland when it encountered weather conditions considerably worse than originally forecast. The Captain determined the best course of action was to take a more southerly route to avoid the worst of the storms, resulting in Ambience being unable to reach the scheduled ports of call in Greenland. The Ambience continued sailing to St. John’s, Newfoundland, where an extended stay was well received and the remainder of the cruise proved relatively uneventful weather-wise.
