I tried the first book to fate breaker, it sounded right up my alley but I could not get into it. I loved Emily Wilde but it’s exactly my type of thing
Yeah I didn't like Heather Fawcett's or Ali Hazelwood's writing. I love fae though.
Faebound barely has any romance, I definitely wouldn’t class it as romantasy personally. Maybe book 2 will lean more romance though

Weirdly, I haven't seen Bride around that much. I thought I'd be seeing it everywhere, but I've only seen it pop up once or twice. I've heard mixed things about it, but I've never read Hazelwood before (I unhauled The Love Hypothesis without reading it) so I'm willing to give her a chance with this one, which actually has a chance that I'll like it purely based on the tropes.
Did not know Rainbow Rowell had a new book out this year. I haven't loved her contemporary romances, but after reading the blurb, this new one sounds like it might have a bit more substance, so I'm adding it to my list.
I had Faebound on my TBR for a hot minute, but then I started seeing some terrible reviews for it, so I took it straight off and that was that.
If you wanna be my Guinea pig for Bride, go ahead. 😂 I love that Faebound was yeeted off your list hahaha.
