- The cornea is the transparent, dome-shaped surface of the eye where light enters. It is a large part of the eye's ability to see clearly. A cornea transplant, or keratoplasty, is most often used to restore vision to a person with a damaged cornea causing vision loss. I’m having a transplant March 5th. From my understanding I will have 16 stitches for a few months. After the stitches are out yes my new cornea will be attached to my eye.

Can a person with keratoconus lose their eyesight again after doing C3R?...........after c3r surgery i feel progressing vision blurring what can i do😭😭😭😭😭 (left eye 6/6 right is 6/15) but left still i feel processing Sir.... Both eyes c3R done🙌😭......please reply sir😭
Switch to RGP lens as keratconus is progressive even after collagen crosslinking.
I had c3r done last year. at first your vision will be like really bad but it comes back over time. but heres the catch, personally it gets blurrier a bit but in a good way, idk hard to explain but a year after c3r itll be okay
just make sure you dont miss your routine check ups.
i am currently awaying some lenses called Rose K or something and the trial ones seems to realllllllly fix ALL my issues

Having a f*cked up cornea in my left eye after refractive surgery, I know how you must feel. Got ICLs implanted and the incision caused my left eye to develop a stable, regular astigmatism of -0.5 D. It reduces my visual acuity to 20/13 vision compared to 20/10 vision in my right eye. I'm going to get a Limbal relaxation incision in two months to get rid of the astigmatism but until then, I'll be stuck with uneven vision. 😔
