- Symon is an African Grey parrot who won't stop talking. After her family adopted her, they began teaching her to talk to build their bond. Soon, she really began to thrive and now they can’t get her to quieten down. They all love the chaos though.

It is wonderful that you bonded so well. Our grey, Poppy, is 27 and is bonded to me but is fine with everyone in the house. She speaks in my husband’s voice and makes up her own sentences 😊

Please adopt if you want a parrot or other bird with a long life span. They often get abandoned when they out live their first owners and alot are left in rescues sad and lonely because they get so attached to only one or very few people 🙏🦜❤️ I hope this already older gentleman has a plan in place for when he is no longer and his baby bird still have many years left to live.

Keep in mind that African grey's can live upto 40 years or more and require a great deal of patience. If you don't have the time or patience, Get another pet. This one's not for you.
You shouldn't kiss parrots, especially on the beak. Human saliva can make them very sick. At least, that's what I've read.
Don't use this clip to convince yourself that it's a good idea to get a parrot. They are terrible pets, and the only place where they ought to live is their natural habitat. Any video that doesn't mentions this is just plain irresponsible!

These African parrots are an amazing bird, my sister has one and I just can't believe how much that parrot talks, and they live a long time, their life span it's like 100 years.
