You missed a cool gimmick pictured on a card - you can block the function using the torch! The game was a really cool thing Hope one day you will review bigger set with mats, and explain everyone how to play! :D
This is a pretty cool set with great parts. One of my favorite sets from my childhood is 7413 - Passage of Jun-Chi, which was released in the same wave of Orient Expedition as this. :) The whole Orient Expedition theme is a very important part of my old-school Lego sets.
This is one of the only Orient Expedition sets I had. I still have Tygurah (and the black and red foo dog. Jun-Chi I think he was called?). And the doctor will always be Charles Lightning to me.
I just got the Yeti set from this line. If I can find this for cheap Ill for sure get it! I love Adventurers, I really wish they would bring that line back :(

Starts by showing the waver, then shows the instructions, referencing the back of the box as if he has already showed it, then shows the back of the box not acknowledging that the instructions the moment prior had the same alternate builds, then shows the instruction manual again and then the waver.... That's some wierd... cutting? I guess? lol
Where do you get these classic sets because I'm working on getting the 2006 Lego batman figs to complete the full Lego batman figure collection but I'm debating on getting the sets because it could equal to being cheaper so I'm wondering how u get classic sets

I know they also came out in some other temple set from the same line the set that had the gold shield I think but beyond that I don't know

Since we're talking about pronunciation -- the 'c' in scimitar is silent. The word is pronounced "Sim-ih-tar" rather than "Skim-ih-tar".
