  • Oise-Aisne American Cemetery is the second largest American World War I military cemetery located overseas.
The 36.5-acre cemetery east of Paris is the resting place for more than 6,000 U.S. service members.
Most of those buried and memorialized here lost their lives while fighting in the vicinity in 1918.
The memorial of rose-colored sandstone is shaped in a curving colonnade, flanked at the ends by a chapel and a map room.
The American Battle Monuments Commission honors America's fallen service members and their stories at 26 overseas cemeteries and 31 monuments.

I chose this cemetery to attend the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day in 2018. The rain parted and the sun came out for a beautiful service

In memory of my great uncle, Robert Thorn, who was killed in action by German machine gun fire on July 29, 1918 and is buried here.

Hello, would it be possible for me to use a clip of this video for a video presentation I am making? It would not be for sale and I would definitely cite the source.
