Mine is the visual moves, it would be cool to see a dragon type use a dragon move in the future
My favourite part of 1.5 update is the visual moves but how do you play 1.5 or is it even out yet
1.5 isn't out yet and there is no set date. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks.

Everyone is missing one of the parts the team love the most - we added in actual pokeballs when you send your pokemon out! i was personally responsible for this lil QoL feature and it was surprisingly complex to do!!
To be honest, that was what caught my eyes the most!!!
hey how many mons are still waiting to be put in? i've been holding off until the dex has been mostly done and theres been enough stuff to really decide to start trying cobblemon

Because they don't have to release in time with the anime, toys, plushes, cards and a ton of other merchandise.

Aside from the restrictions, that's just how it is. You can always improve an original. You can improve minecraft by adding pixelmon, you can improve pixelmon by adding more updates, and so on. Something great can always be better.
@@nightnight9164 The issue lies on the fact that everything has to be coordinated and release in close sequence with each other for maximum marketability. Multiple teams doesn't make it any easier.

I like how they used a base game Minecraft feature (sus gravel/sand) and used it in different places
Since [Micropenis](TM) can't make the archeology update, the people who actually care about the game have taken it upon themselves to make it instead.
Honestly a fossil revival would be a better mechanic than just armor trims and sherds
The little details in this mod are what make it magical. The love, care, and attention to detail that goes into this is incredible, and things like krabby blowing bubbles or hippowdon sinking into the sand prove it. THIS feels like pokemon. It feels dynamic and fun, and the world is filled with life. I only hope that they continue to add more awesome little details, because that's what really makes this mod special and superior to other pokemon experiences!
The krabby detail warmed my heart, pokemon mistery dungeon explorer's of sky is my favorite game of all time, i always cry playing that game, so man, it was a surprise that i love

this mod could be the gateway to a "pokemon life simulator" that i've always wanted - an open world that lets you just relax and pretend like you're a real resident in the pokemon world. would love to build some towns in this mod, although it would probably take a long time.

I really, really like that they incorporated the vanilla brush into fossil digging. Big props to the dev team.
i hope they focus more on the aesthetic and immersion elements, battle animations are great but i want to feel more involved in the world
I'm really hoping they add the ability for Pokemon to defend us from hostile mobs

@joshriley2936 I think it would be cool to have the option of replacing the normal Minecraft bosses with legendaries, like instead of the Wither it’s Necrozma
it would be so awesome if they used some aspects of that climbing spider mod for their spider pokemon so you could find them on any surfaces

I am pretty sure with enough time we will see that,
it will finally be a living breathing world,
pokemon walking in groups, some fighting, other hanging around in trees or sleeping at the bottom of the ocean,
it just a question of time

I have such high hopes for cobblemon! It'll be great if they can add mounting so traveling is much faster, HMs and TMs to teach our pokemon different moves, breeding to make stronger pokemon, also implementing the mod fight or flight so our pokemon can attack hostile minecraft mobs!
I think they are working on their own ai which allows for way more advanced hostile wild Pokémon
I think HMS will be really cool but they can definetly do better.
Maybe well see something more like the mounts in alola but you can mount almost all that should be mountable? Maybe the galar bike?
I really like the new structures that weren't there before. It just adds a lot of stuff to cobblemon..

Huge fan of all the little features that really increase immersion. Krabby bubbles, the parts of pokemon that glow at night, the pokeball effects when sending them out. Love it all. Its those little details that make you love a game.

absolutely adore the animations, every time I see them move I can see all the effort and care that went into making them seem alive. they did an absolutely amazing job translating the pokemon designs into cubes and 2D planes
The excavation from vanilla immediately being used for Pokémon fossils in this mod just feels like it makes sense 😊
When ?? I am waiting 😍but if they are adding more things like bettle animation then the wait is worth it and the craby bubble animation is little little things that I love the most 🖤

I dont play the game but I just want to point out that I am obsessed with the archeops flying animation. It looks soooo much better than the mon trying its hardest to stay in the air like in the official games(Archeops is also my favourite so)
Not gonna lie, since Cobblemon embraces the exploration bit rather than keepinf it as a side gig on top of Minecraft, it would be amazing to eventually finding other Mystery Dungeon things tucked away in this mod. Like, imagine exploring at your own and you come across a rather suspicious mountain, you climb it, and you find yourself near Red/Blue Rescue Team's Sky Tower.
Or perhaps you find on very rare ocassions small houses with the style of the main villages of each game
move animations were the main thing i've been waiting for them to add, so im really glad they finally are because i stopped playing really early on due to the pokemon just sitting there during battles
that PMD2 reference with krabby making bubbles at the beach was nostalgic man.

I really hope they include more Pokémon mechanics outside of battle related stuff, like have them have a use outside of fighting and more related to helping you survive or give you a reason to fight Pokémon other than just to level up and catch them

This singular modpack made me wish I had either more friends and/or my friends had PCs, mainly because I want to get a server running and just play this mod with friends
I'm hoping that, at some point, there's a way to only have certain generations of mons spawn. Some people may only want mons from one gen to spawn. Some people may want only the first 3 gens of mons to spawn, while others want the only the newest to spawn. There's so many mons, it can get just insanely cluttered.
They're doing such a good job on this mod though. I hope they do add some way to include/exclude certain gens at some point.

You know, as much as I love the mod and the passion that goes into it, I can't help but feel that progress would go so much faster if they asked to integrate some of the sub-mods people have created. Still a great mod, of course. Ran a server for it for a while, but my friends kinda lost interest so it was just me and I got tired of playing alone.

Do you know if they added the ability to change ivs yet? I remember them saying something about it but I do not remember.
I'm super stoked for this, unfortunately I don't have a PC so maybe in some future of the mod when it's complete it might come to the marketplace. I would definitely be willing to drop some money on that mod, it's arguably more content added than minecraft has added in the last 3 years
I played cobblemon back when it first released and it was fun, just very incomplete. After seeing this video I am super excited to jump back in and try it once more!

This mod is getting so good, i tried it out a little bit last year but the lack of content made me stop real fast. Been keeping my eyes on it's growth though cause I'm confident in the dev team.
Why is it that after I updated the mod pack to version 1.5, when I press the R button to throw my Pokémon to fight, the interface for recapture or launch moves is not displayed
How cool would it be for village like spawns to have pokemon gyms that match the type of village it is. The ghost type village could have ghost type gym.

Thats it. They might have officialy won. All they need to do is the battle animations. And they are still active with the mod. Pixelmon has not for years. They have 🏆 won
Pixelmon in 1.12 had combat animations but after they updated to the new versions they removed them
@@SlackVT Before I worked on Cobblemon I was a Pixelmon dev and I was the one that added the combat animations lol. I'm not sure why they removed my effects. The system wasn't nearly as good as the one I've built in Cobblemon but it was completely fine.

This mod is amazing! One thing that I am hoping they add in the future is custom trainer npcs, so that cobblemon adventure maps can come to life.

I've played and loved pixelmon since I was little. I watched it evolve and truly become full pokemon in minecraft, bringing two of my favorite games together, and I'll never stop loving pixelmon.
But, just wow, seeing cobblemon's growth might somehow be more astounding. The sheer amount of detail is insane, the way everything looks, feels, and plays, I'm in awe that it somehow lets me relive pixelmon's uprise in a new way, in a new time, something I'm not sure anything has ever done.
If this keeps up while Poke Wilds update keeps taking its time, I might actually consider pivoting from Poke Wilds to this in terms of making custom pokemon.
The animations for models might end up being less annoying to make thanks to animation bones compared to pixel graphics..
This update looks incredible, I just hope the rowlet line gets proper animations-

how do updates to cobblemon work i play on fabric 1.20.4 currently does that mean that i need to switch to the most current version of minecraft or does cobblemon update older versions with the new features or is it just that the version i am currently using stays the way it is

I'm just waiting to play this mod when the NPCs come out. I hope they add gyms or even a Pokémon league or maybe other structures. What I need with these type of mods is an objective.
Why not play in servers where there's already leagues?

So Tumblestones are essentially a new type of crop
i think it works, but i still hope they touch up the idea some more in the future some time. its only a crop that uses lava instead of water, feels like something just as functional but more interesting could be done if given more thought.
maybe instead it has to be dripped on by a lava-dripping stalactite, forming a tumblestone stalagmite?
It feels kind of like the amethyst crystals, except the cluster block is just a block that is touching lava on a side you can place yourself. Neat idea
