- Today we are making a bunch of mini animal Worry Warts out of Polymer clay AND Cos clay . I asked you all on Instagram for your weirdest/coolest animal friends and then we decided to sculpt all of them. We are making the capybara, blob fish, sparkle muffin spider, flamingo, nudibranchs or sea slugs or bunnies, platypus, and weirdly somehow cows got involved in the mix. I'm dying to know which of these mini fun guys is your favourite in the comments below!!

Fun fact real quick, blob fish don’t actually look like that. Blob fish are deep sea fish and when pulled out of the water turn basically to mush cause of the atmosphere difference. I love the sculpture and think it’s super cute, but I think more people should know this 😅

Wait what? You’re 71 that’s a surprising because my Nan is not even that old and she’s been here for 20 years. I think actually nine years.
I love the blobfish worry warts!! Blobfish are often made fun of for being ugly even though in their natural habitat, they look like normal fish, which is a great reminder that if you ever feel ugly your probably just not in the right place :) I will be purchasing one once they get restocked!
For the platypus for the dad they have a sharp spike behind their back foot so you might want to make that!❤
1) I'd 100% be down for more ocean critters, the nudibranchs were my favourite too!
2) I've seen other content creators like North of the Border use isopropyl alcohol to smooth out clay texture and remove fingerprints before baking, I don't know if that might help?
3) A little fact I learned about the blobfish, they actually look much more like a regular fish when they're alive and under water! They're designed to live at extreme depths, so when they're brought to the surface their bodies collapse into those human skin piles that we're so familiar with 😂

00:13:31 Before you bake the slugs, you can use a brush dipped in alcohol to smooth out ridges or imperfections :)
The black and teal/green sea slug is my absolute favorite! I love sea slugs❤️!

The capybara and platypus were so cute. As for the finger prints I recall Ace of Clay doing a video where he used that clay and gave some tips. Sadly I can not recall which one it is. But he always seems to give great tips on sculpting when he is doing his stuff.

I love nudibranchs. I made a blue dragon out of cosclay. I used the clay softener on it and it helped. Amazing work getting all those finished. I'm so slow it's pitiful and so many people have asked me to make them things 🤷🏻♀️ they were all beautiful, even the udder ones.

As a person who is studying Entomology in college. My favorites are weevils and it would be so cool to see one in your style! Weevils are the best silly little guys in my opinion. Those and isopods. My favorite is the rubber ducky isopod. :) 🦆
Have you thought about making an opossum? Personally, that's my favorite marsupial and animal in general.
I loved them all but my favs were the black and green, and the yellow and Black Sea bunnies, as well as the platypuses and the capybaras

I think it'd be cool if you did more spiders, specifically tarantulas or jumping spiders; tailless whip scorpions; giant african land snails; crested or leopard geckos; Australia also has a bunch of cool and crazy looking creatures like the echidna, Tasmanian devils, quokka, blue-ringed octopus, etc. 🦎🦔🐙🦂🕷️🐌
