I am looking forward to a camping trip at the river. 🧡 My son is T1 and we have gotten so good at looking at something and guessing the carbs, take the fat into account and if there is any fiber. My nutrition background sure came in handy. Good luck to you on this amazing journey!

🍊🍊🍊Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I live in south hemisphere, so I'm really excited because I'm going to be able to take 2 weeks off, for my son's winter holiday. ☔

I had gestational diabetes with both my boys. The reason I had it was because I was born with gastroparesis, which means I digest everything slower than everyone else, so being pregnant slowed it more down making my pancreas work harder. Diabetes runs in my family and was later diagnosed with type 2 in December 2021. However, I attribute that diagnosis due to getting COVID in late January to early February 2020.
Just be mindful that you could develop diabetes later on in life due to having gestational diabetes, but you may never get it. It's rough now, but you and baby will be fine. Congratulations on your little one on the way, it's a beautiful experience, I miss the kicking. 😊🩷🩷🩷
