- This is a new series I am stating on my channel where I back plan and/or decorate spreads of weeks I missed thus far this year. My goal is to not have any empty pages at the end of the year. Today we’re doing a Happy Planner horizontal spread. Stay tuned until the end for quote of the day.

I have been using Happy Planners since Oct 2017 and I have filled a daily part out each day, or early the next day. Why have a planner if you don't plan? As it is now, I do all planning after the fact because I don't know how well I am feeling for that day. Usually only one main thing a day. After all, I'm 77 and not moving well. But I love my planners and use them every day.
That would be me,but I’m doing so much better this year with completing my planner pages.Way better.

Girllll literally am starting a backplanning series as well ! I have not consistently written in my planners since Feb ! 😩 But best believe they are hella decorated lol ! Glad we’re backplanning together ! In this thing together 🥳 💜
Gorgeous spread! Love your thoughts on back planning. I definitely have a few missed weeks of decorating and planning. I was going to leave them blank but I too want to be able to look back and have a completed book. You are absolutely right when you said I have way too many stickers not to. That made perfect sense. Also for me, this is an opportunity to spread my wings and try some new things decoratively speaking. I feel like it would allow me to do so without worrying about how it looks as much. Looking forward to this series! 💖
I definitely have spreads that I have not done. I just back planned my June weekly spreads.🤷🏽♀️

Hi Kendra, what a great and realistic idea! I really appreciate this series and the relatability to people that cannot keep up with their planners for so many different reasons, like for financial and other reasons with their sticker accumulating to be able to keep up with the sticker decorations in our decorative planners. Thank you so 😊😢so very very much for this unique and honest idea! A time to catch up and make our planners the way we really wanted them to be!! Arlene

This is so relatable Kendra. Life has been lifing lately. This idea is so great. Lately I’ve been laying the stickers down and not writing in as much.
I am enjoying this back planning series. You've 🙌 inspired me to forward plan and decorate as many weeks as I can before I go back to work. Decorating spreads once I am back in the classroom can be challenging and then I end up back planning. I am up to September right now 😊. Love Mrs. Walker-her classic style reminds me of my mom. Thanks again for the inspiration.

Kendra, have you thought about adding small pics for memory planning.
I have but that would require me to size and print the pictures. That’s time I don’t necessarily have right now. I don’t have a memory keeping planner, it’s just on the shelf though 🤭

I have 5 currently pages including June that I need to do. I also have aprils monthly and 5 weekly’s. Mine were all april 8th through June 9th I fell off around go wild time and dc planner journal con. I do plan to back plan though!
I use a small planner that I write in daily what I do.. it’s not neat at all but I use it for my to dos what I eat etc and that helps me back plan and helps me do my bff daily stickering :)
Girl you and me both!! Those two weeks for GW and DC Planner Journal Con are completely blank. Don’t worry they’ll get decorated and maybe filled out in this series. We can do them together! 🥰

Do you get you're dolls based on what colors you have in your sticker books. Your dolls always coordinate?
No, I just buy dolls I like and then I pair them based on what dolls I want to use first or if I get florals that I really want to use than I’ll look for a doll that coordinates.
