- #KingdomComeDeliverance is a 2018 action role-playing video game developed by #WarhorseStudios and published by Deep Silver for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia, an Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire, with a focus on historically accurate content.
The story takes place during a war in Bohemia in 1403. On the orders of Hungarian king Sigismund, Cuman mercenaries raid the mining village of Skalitz, a major source of silver. One of the survivors of the resulting massacre is Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Destitute and vengeful, Henry joins the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who leads a resistance movement against Sigismund's invasion. As Henry pursues justice for his murdered family, he becomes involved in an effort to restore Bohemia's rightful king and Sigismund's half-brother, Wenceslaus IV, to the throne. The game features branching quest lines, an open world environment, and period-accurate weapons, clothing, combat techniques, and architecture (recreated with the assistance of architects and historians), which encourages immersive gameplay. #CZcamsGaming
The game received generally positive reviews and a number of Game of the Year awards. Critics praised the story, attention to detail, and focus on realism, while criticism was aimed at technical bugs.

I wonder what all their environmental artists were doing during the period the story-guys were pushing out DLC? DLC with minimal environmental additions. You think all of them were just rolling their thumbs around for over a year? I bet they were doing a new world for the others to fill while those other devs were pushing out DLC. That is my theory and I bet they will announce it pretty close to release. CDPR just showed that after you have the initial success creating ridiculous hype over a very long period of time is not a good idea.
@@Aquelll let’s hope we get something by January at least a trailer this is ridiculous KCD 2 needs to be their main focus the story isn’t finished after that I would like to see a fantasy’ game from them with the same armor and combat system
@@Starwarsfan2020 Well, I believe it is confirmed that the second game will have both 2nd and 3rd part of the story. The game was originally written as a trilogy. Only thing I am worried how they make the character progression interesting since Henry is already now a well known swordsman. My own idea is that the best course of action might be to establish a new player character. Henry as a new member of nobility gets a squire you play as maybe? And Henry would be integral part of the story training you and you would help him to get his fathers sword back. I think that would be the most natural path to take to make the character progression make sense. And I would not mind that as long as Henry really is integral to the story.
@@Aquelll I think they go to that castle a battle happens it acts as the tutorial teaching new players how to sword fight etc and Henry gets injured loosing his gear and getting a head injury making you have to re learn everything you did the hit to the head was so hard Henry forgot how to read and fight ! I thinks that is how it will go down with a battle at that epilogue castle with Henry getting an injury
@@Starwarsfan2020 What about this. The epilogue is that battle yes, you play as Henry. You kill Markvart von Aulitz but end up getting a mortal injury. Henry dies of his wounds shortly afterwards... Fast forward roughly 16-18 years. You play as a boy just come of age. You fight with your mother, Theresa that you want to go and avenge your father and get your "grandfathers" sword back to honor your late father. She reminds you that the very same quest of vengeance got your father killed but you stay adamant. That would put the time the second game happens right around the early years of Hussite wars that tore the Czech republic apart because of religious differences. Extremely interesting time in the Czech history. Maybe you can even end up picking sides. Remember the game is written by the man who wrote Mafia 1. We can expect anything and the ages old "get hit in the head and got your weapons stolen" trope is not one of those...
Read just the introduction on the Hussite wars Wikipedia page and you understand how well that would fit.😅

I am from Czechia, and there are many clues to guess that KCD2 will take place probably somewhere in Český ráj (smth like czechia paradise idk) and there are many castles such as Valdstein, Hruba Skala and of course Trosky. At least according to warhorse director's instagram
I kinda hope to see Kost and Pařez as well. And other smaller ones that used to be in that area at the time.
I am hopeful that with the company's vastly improved resources the next game will feature an even larger and richer world.

Would be nice if the game had a DLC where you could choose a location to build your own castle. Where it works kind of like the From the Ashes DLC but alittle more difficult to upgrade. From the Ashes DLC was too easy to upgrade and you can finish the all the upgrades fairly quickly. Building a castle from scratch would be cool.
You could choose pre-existing layout but custom the rooms and such but it would take a while to complete sections of the castle.
Plus building out lying areas for farming and other housing.

I agree, that would be amazing really. I was hoping that from the ashes would be a more comprehensive mod like that that would really allow you to customize it more, and role play.

Historical Sim RPGs really need to be a genre on their own. I'd love to see a Turkish studio make a KCD-esque game set during the early Ottoman Empire, perhaps around the Battle of Nicopolis or the Ottoman Interregnum where you work your way up to becoming a Timariot Sipahi. Or a Polish or Lithuanian studio make a game on the rise of Vytautus the Great and the lead up to the Battle of Grunwald
I agree, this needs to be a type of game that we get more of. I love it coming from the historical perspective of the person making it. I would love a game from the Cuman's perspective.
Actually, before KDC was even a thing a Polish game dev studio was working on a historical sim RPG set in Thirteen Years War (mid-VX century). It was codenamed "Project Bażyński".
Sadly, the project was never finished. The last info comes from I believe 2008 or 2009.

this is cool. glad it exists but I agree a few additions would make this more useful. Just a chest and a bed really. I was wondering why we havent seen more player home mods.
Difference in mods between skyrim and KCD is that it's hard to top anything in KCD with mods because it has everything while skyrim is opposite, it's like blank page
@Dare To Game , I have not found any satisfying answers online, so maybe you as experienced Kingdom Come content creater have an idea: I have so far put 120 hours into my playthrough and some days ago, the random encounters just stopped. Initially I thought this was a good thing caused by me chosing the Scout III perk, but now I have realized it is a bug. I can travel from Prybislawitz to Rattay 100x in a row back and forth without a single encounter.
Since I am a perfectionist and already collected almost one of each gear (still only halfway through the story) and have cleared all side quests, I dont want to give up on this account. But I cannot get the remaining treasure maps from wayfarers this way. Maybe you can look into this problem or make a video about it?
It seems like others have experienced this issue as well, but no one knows an answer.
Now that you mention it, i haven't had many enoucnters that i can think of recently. It might just be because i have been fast traveling less, but im not sure. However, if you want to complete the treasure hunts without getting the maps, i actually have a series of videos that shows the location of every treasure, broken down by geographic location.
This was cool. I really wish we had some new story content for KCD though. I need some sequel news or something.

I dont know what happened with the ladders .Maybe is a conflict with a mod u r using.U were not supposed to enter the building on the first castle i am gonna close entrance.Haha.On the other hand you can reach the Keep on last castle.Some stunts are needed tho.
I guess it could be a conflict, i do have a few other mods running on this save. Nothing big, but its always hard to say what can cause a conflict.
Nice castles, but ... I think that they plastering them (but here is only bare stone - inside as well outside). Well plastering is much more probably, even in Kost or Pernštejn castle we have plastering´s with red painted letterings as well some small pictures, anyway from some castles we have beautiful legends (Jindřichův Hradec castle) which aren´t in chapell. Great is a "green room" in Houska castle. Anyway from Karlštejn castle we known wooden paneling - this was not only from beautification´s reason´s, but also from the better temperature (from better temperatures they also used gobelins). Anyway here is - I think atypical fireplace, but especially in 15th century they often used tiled stoves (which often have beautiful decoration´s). Anyway here is many other small detail´s. Also I think that courtyard was much more cleaned, and I doesn ´t supposed that they will have execution site here. If any other reason, the main is that hangman stay "on his place" often untill he fall apart - so this don´t smell good ...
Thinking to make new settlements just for fun later on. Also add new npc or side quest possibly.

I just love the game so much, and was hopeful that by this time there would be some epic mods, so when someone is actually making mods like this that clearly take a lot of work, i look for the good things, wherever they may be hiding.

Yes, i have that mod downloaded while using this one. It might cause crashes, or you might corrupt the save, as that is always a danger when using mods, but i haven't had that happen yet.

For a real very good and realistic experience of this game it must be played in harcore mod. really it's much realistic so, sometimes even so easier, no joke! as for exemple ennemies will run away just if you wear an armor and you deffend yourself..a lot of stuff like this , this game really must be played in hardcore mod
The hardcore mode is certainly something i think everyone should try at least once, it does make the game remarkably realistic.

On my other channel, "Parry This" i did that for Helm's Deep from Lord of the Rings. I have considered some other castles from various sources, but we will have to see where it goes.
This mod is the socond by greatness after winter mod! Last one is the greatest one, really, but i think it should be smaller, and hill should be more overgrown with bushes.

It really is a much better game on PC. I played it a lot on PS4 before switching, and loved it, but it is way better on PC.

I've tried a mod a ways back that removed the slow motion for combat. I think Hardcore also does that.
@@Dare_To_Game Hardcore doesn't do that. You can still download it. No More Slow Mo on kingdom come nexus. Install it manually and then when you get in a game hit ` and type sys_spec_twtoggle 2 to turn it off
I remember, before the game released I said I hoped they'd get rid of bullet time. People would tell me "You can't do that. The human eye isnt' fast enough." Anyone who has played Mount & Blade games knows that's nonsense.

Since you CAN'T battle two enemies with flow the game loses the carisma, turnig in " if you don't do it like I like it, you fuck it" and that's boring, also all the gameplay is slow, at first the drink saving is cool but after turns in the worst nightmare of resident evil.
