I have an 05 Rumble Bee 5.7 with a Borla and I centered the tip with the gap the same all around. That's kinda what the cut out is for. It's just one pipe out the left side but it does have the cutout too. Funny... I changed every light to LED also, except the licence plate, that's the last one. Looks good bro! Cool video!

I have the same tips for my truck. love the look but I live in Canada so having the back side of them wide open makes for a nice spot for dirt and crap to get packed in and probably rot eventually

Tuck them up closer to the bumper, Looks cleaner and if you off road you get better clearance in the rear without scraping those nice tips.
I have the stock muffler setup 2014 Ram 1500 5.7L v8 Hemi . I'm wondering would this be a improvement over stock not much on BIG muffler sounds unless it's a old 80's truck or car but was wondering is the sound louder than stock ?

Yeah when the ecodiesel goes into cleaning mode with the Def the exhaust gets real hot. Matter fact the airport I work at will not let diesel with Def cleaning systems on the airfield cause the exhaust gets so hot it could ignite fuel on the ground. I should have had you come to my house and fix my Ram. I had a lifter failure. Mopar no car. Guess I have no car. LOL Got the head off and now in the process of getting the timing cover off.

Nice tips 😁…. Im not a fan of the rolled tips.. i like the style you put on an exactly how you installed , consistent space all way round as you say you can see them a bit better ! 👍💯

@@DarrensTruckzs It's not the rolled vs non rolled, it's the length of the tip itself. Drawing pictures with words so work with me. The = is the exhaust pipe, the [ is the start of the external tip, ( is the internal start of the tip, the _ is the length of the inside and obviously ] being the exit.....this is the best I can come up using chat lol.
The factory ones ======[___] and the ones he put on would be like =[====(__] vs like traditional weld on =[________]

They claim the longer and bigger the flare out on the tip from the mounting off the pipe size the deeper the tone. Rolled edge is nice easier to clean other that the squared edge.
I’d keep them lower. Air gap from the heat. Because that’s not a steel bumper lol wish my side exit had more air gap seeing a very slight change to the clear coat closer to the lower edge towards the pinch weld.

Not for $231 bucks!! Aero makes one that is about $40 cheaper and sometimes even more when there are sales.
The clamps are $17/each might as well order them too..
Do they make it louder?
If i had to guess, I think it would make the sound a tiny bit deeper due to it being about another 3 inches longer and 1 inch larger in diameter. I have the Hemi engine in my 4th gen ram 1500. I would love to try these out. $231 for some tips does sound a bit pricey though. $150 wouldve been more reasonable IMO.

@@webberfan1234 im a big fan of flowmaster. Thats what ive always had on all my trucks. It is also what I have on my 2016 ram Laramie. I have the flowmaster outlaw series with the resonators deleted and it sounds amazing. Cold starts full throttle are loud but normal driving is definetly tolerable. No major drone sounds in the cab. Corsa exhaust I beleive is more expensive than flowmaster but dont quote me on that. I prefer the throaty deeper exhaust on a V8 truck better.

Tear off those fake wheel flairs, just double taped on, painted underneath, looks much nicer. Did it to my ram, same color as yours. To me they give the truck a more "old man" style, less sporty
