I've watched so many videos trying to find the sound of my heartbeat, can't find it. It goes like this (loud beat, soft, soft, soft, loud again)
Lola Taylor - please get an ECG done.
Last Second Medicine I have and I've got a leak in one of my heart valves, a small leak. I don't remember which valve it is but I can't find the sound anywhere. I had an ultrasound done.
Lola Taylor - sorry to hear that. We sincerely hope and wish that it is cured.
This video is very basics of heart sounds. There is a seperate video on murmurs (sounds that are heard due to narrowness or leaking valves).

However it is important to know that the video is intended for educational purposes for medical students only. Please do not try to interpret information if you are not having the foundation knowledge.
Last Second Medicine O yes I understand, I just wanted to find the same heartbeat as mine just for comparison. Thank you so much.
All i know people in this comment section r doctors im jst in 12th...đ trying to understand though hard ...i mean vry hard
Nice but it is really not necessary to effort to understand a video which is difficult not only for your level but also for medical students in their foundation years. However appreciate your interest and wish you all the best for your future đ
wide s2 split is ASD not VSD
02:54
Fixed Splitting = ASD
Widening of Physiological Splitting can occur in VSD
I can barely hear the sounds on my phone?
Please use headphones
Greattttt
wow...nice
Mominul Hoque - Thanks
@1:25 is there any other abnormality in this rhythm except for the splitting that we hear? Is there a murmur also present there?
@Last Second Medicine if you can please reply asap
Just splitting. There is echo (artifact of recording) which is appearing as murmur.
What software did you use to make this video?
Adobe After Effects
Is there less gap between s1 and s2 than there is between s2 and s1?
Yes. Systole is normally shorter than diastole.
