I have been putting attachments on tractors for over 50 yrs . Put the lift arms on first then top link , then raise up the lift about half way up then put your sway bars on . You have more movement to place everything on easier. Also, to take off,. first with lift up, take off sway bars then let down lift and take lift arms off then take off toplink.

Nice clear video & nice clean machine, too. Mine's pretty dirty, but it works more than it sits. One thing, being pedantic as I am, those "clips" holding your stabilizer bars on are called "lynch pins". Thanks for sharing.

Those pins should be directly below or as close as possible to directly across from the pivot point for the arms to avoid binding.

I realize you bought a kit specifically for your Ford tractor, but will the so to speak generic adjustable stabilizer bars from rural King or tractor supply work just as well? Thank you. Great informative video!

Thats a good question, not really sure, but this one fit the tractor perfect with no modifcations.

Where did you get the bar for your light on top. I'd like to put one on my 8n.

@@PovertyPointCustoms I like it. Give the dimensions. Or the material you used.

I've got a couple of guide post from an old bass boat trailer. I was thinking about using them with a top piece to plate for my light. I assume your flashes. 12 v system. Mine still 6v.
