As an union fan, I must admit one thing I love about the NRL is how excited the commentators get. Sells the game so well, union commentators are nearly always apologising for it being a contact sport!!

He hesitated for a bit and that cost him. Can’t believe he got chased down. Great play dearden. Didn’t lift them though. Thought it would have. Smoothy’s try was tooo easy. And no ref to get in his way.

Why is that drip a penalty
Because Valentine Holmes was in front of him when he dropped it, so Holmes was offside when he touched the ball. It was a penalty for offside, not for dropping the ball.

My great great grandfather was a real piece of work. He used to shoot aborigines if they were on his land. Never got in trouble for it. Only time he got chipped for it was when he blinded an old aborigine. He got kicked out of the masons for that. He thought that they were lower down on the evolutionary chain than the white folks. There are people who still think like that. I’m glad he took a stand. He’s a tough guy because he plays a tough game. You don’t like it that he stood up and called it out. I still find it hard to believe Leniu didn’t understand the connotation of what he said.
