June 21st is the release day of 7 days to die 1.0 for PC!
June 24 is the release date. 21 is the start of streamer weekend.
They always release to the public on Monday so that if there is an unforeseen game breaking bug they can fix it over the work week rather than on the weekend.

Please let us carry water. i dont care if its a jar, a used can or a dirty helmet, we should be able to collect from a lake or river and then filter or boil water again.
It’s not coming back. They’ve already said that a thousand times. That’s why they put so much work into the dew collectors.

Honestly with the prevalence of items in the United States to collect, store and purity water you'd think it wouldn't be an issue. I mean heck simple water filter is a cylinder with a solid end, a clean cloth folded over at the bottom then alternating crushed charcoal and sand with a mesh at the top to catch any large debris and a small hole at the bottom for water to drip out. There's also distillation and other viable methods of purifying water so just use your head. Personally I think making water more difficult is unrealistic.

@@JustIn-mu3nl I can't wait, although I'm kinda bummed that you won't be able to pre-order it before the game comes out. It's not that big of a deal in all honesty though, but I've been checking the Microsoft Store everyday on my Series X for the last month or so lol. I was going to pre-order it in advanced so I could pre-install it so that way when the game officially releases, all I need to do is boot up the game. With that said, I seriously cannot wait for this game to release, I'm buying it day one because I've saved up some money and put it aside specifically for the new 7 Days To Die on console.

The POIs in this game are amazing. The artists and level designers are doing an awesome job with the architecture and sheer imagination going into not only what they are but the backstories of what was going on in them at the time of the event. Just really incredible job on their part. Bravo.
Is there a guaranteed way to have snow and desert be opposite each other? Always find it odd going directly from snow to sand

They are constantly having to change it when they add new blocks to the game. They mentioned this in passing at one point.

You're not preventing any spoilers by continously saying don't show this, don't show that. During over 10 years of alpha we have seen the "surprises". If something explodes or something falls through the roof, it's business as usual. I promise to be surprised when bandits open fire on me and/or break into my base to steal stuff. Until that, meh.

It's not coming! They've been promising it for 11 years! There will never be NPCs that go anywhere or do anything other than trade. There will be no bandits either. These guys are straight lying to the fan base and no one seems the wiser. It's actually kind of crazy.

It took me a while to put my finger on why this is such a good game. and it's the POIs. There are no loading screens, if I see a building i can go into it, i can run out. It's amazing. Fallout 4 can't say this. There are in fact many boarded up buildings in fallout 4. Why? Why can't i rip those boards off and look in? Dying light 1 and 2? Most of the buildings are set pieces, you can't go in. What's the point of even making it in a city then?
If you removed all the crafting and the mining, and JUST had the POIs, it's still a better game than most others. I think Days gone you can enter the buildings, but honestly i don't remember much of that game, but boy do i remember darkness falls horde nights, or broken legs from falls in 7D2D.
See that building? You can reduce it to rubble.
Main concern for me. Right now is longevity of the game can we expect mod support on consoles down the line once they move to next project essentially the community can keep it alive

Version 1.0 is looking amazing. I can't wait to play it. I hope the console will eventually add split-screen Co-op, my son and I stream the Legacy Console edition in split screen.
I really like the update to dew collector. It's logical that one can easily construct it to obtain murky water, and then enhance the water's quality, increase its collection capacity, and accelerate the collection process with special parts. I'm really pleased with this improvement :)
looking good, tho i hope they fix triggers in some pois making stealth not possible. otherwise i like some of the changes like to dew collectors

So when I play, if there a lots of zombies, the performance will be extremely terrible. FPS drops to 15 at 2k resolution for the worst case. I have 5800X+6800xt I see in the dev stream replay the fps is quite stable. May I assume the performance issue has been resolved?
It would be cool if there was a late game poi where you could free a person that could farm recourses or cook for you or help defend when horde night comes.

After 11 years, no storyline or ultimate goal.. only "survive", good.
Well, I dont Know about you, but I've been have a Lot of Fun with this game for many years, so storyline didnt affect It UP to now. sure would be great have lore, tradicional quests that lead the story forward and so on.
I Just Hope they do It right, and not mess It UP like starbound devs did it

Free. They aren't paid add ons, they are features they wanted to add to 1.0 but didn't have enough time to add.

Did you guys fix the traiding machine when you played alone? You can rent it for 30 days. I sold only a few sings for 30 days😮. It glitches.. I made it full, but it did not trade. 8-10 days, it didn't do anything. After that, it started to buy my stuff, and only a few of them😢
Legit I got an ad right after he pulled the trigger on the rocket launcher at 1:18:12. I don't know how the ad algorithm works but it seems like it just knows when things are about to get interesting and leaves you on a cliffhanger.
I will try it, It sounds great, but if the vehicles are still clunky like the previous alpha, i wont have as much fun. same with the gun play

@@SamCitizenMarkley they don't respond to video streams...they respond in their forums, but yes, you'll need to start a fresh game because blocks have changed, and what you are using might not exist anymore. This was mentioned in the forums several times. They also can't predict if you'll need a fresh restart from experimental to stable 1.0 yet...the point of experimental is to find out if there are any technical issues that need to be resolved before stable, or if there are any "show stopping" bugs that need squashed. It'll be harder this time because consoles aren't as easy to update because both sony and microsoft have to approve all updates, and it could be two weeks before they deploy them. Further, but console platforms charge game developers to update thier game intentionally, to reduce the amount of work they have to do testing them first. Console update monetization is B.S.
@@GaryTabarJr you miss read, moving on from 1.0, as it's now stable, the future updates won't need a reset. I've had this game since 2015, i know how it all works ;)
I have been very impressed with your random world generation ever since you initially revamped it. My only complaint with the random world gen is how the roads can form kind of strangely, like there's one type of road for the cities and another for between them. Other than that, I look forward to what happens to Navezgane moving forward, as it's felt kind of outdated when compared to the current random gen maps.

Will this game run well on a ps5? Ive been thinking of buying a ps5, and with the 7 days to die release ill definitely be getting one. But I'm scared itll run like crap, does anyone have any info on this?
honestly hard to know...they say in this stream that "console plays well and the fps is good" but...that is their word only. they really do not say much about console at all. It is the xbox series S that they say is too limited in the FAQ.
Honestly, just spend more and get a gaming pc...games will be cheaper or free, plus you'll be able to add mods, or even emulate older consoles. Our ps4 pro just gathers dust, and all the console games come out on pc in a year, and play better as well.
@@GaryTabarJr I think most people go through that phase...where they waffle between playing on a console to buying a gaming PC...it has its pluses...and for others it becomes a minus. sitting at a desk to have "fun" after sitting at a desk all day for work just doesn't feel fun for everyone. Both of us end up buying something that becomes obsolete in just a few years...I just paid less and got to put my feet up and relax.
@@dannydaye9449 If your PC goes obsolete in a few years, then you bought the wrong stuff. I am currently on a laptop that has been going strong for almost 4 years now without struggling on any well made game with medium to high settings. The point of a PC is to be upgradeable and be capable a lot of stuff. A console is a PC that has shackles put on it. PCs are more than capable of running console games - getting much more fps and higher resolution capabilities. Consoles have been limited to 30-60 fps for many years while PCs exceed 1k fps on Minecraft, however you are limited to your monitor hertz which the highest consumer monitor is a whopping 540hz. PCs allow you to do work and browse the corners of the internet freely. Today consoles are used as a medium to sell "exclusives" in order to trick people into getting them. PCs are also not as expensive as people make them to be. Yes they should be much much cheaper, but they cost that amount for a reason. NVIDIA sells top of the line GPUs, however they overprice them. If you want something half the price, but very capable then just get AMD GPUs. I understand the pull to consoles, but logically they are just necked down PCs which makes them a waste of materials. If all console games were ported to PC and consoles removed then PC part prices dropped to more reasonable amounts, I think that would be a large improvement. This will not happen for a long long time though because consoles make Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo so much money.

The new Random Gen maps looks amazing. I know it's not going to be available at launch for console, but I hope it comes in a future update. Also, I don't mind waiting for it to come later on because, I've always planned to play on Navezgane first since a lot has changed on that map since Alpha 14. With that said, Random Gen maps look amazing now and I really hope it can come to console at a later date. And even if Random Gen maps have to be slightly smaller on console compared to PC due to hardware limitations, then I'm totally cool with that as well.
PS. How about Oldsmole Gas Co. instead of Pipeline Gas Co. kinda like Oldsmobile but Oldsmole. 😉

the perks and talents will remain the same? like a person can be everything and a super human when they arrive like at lvl 100? i wish there was actual classes on the game that way you can specialize in 1 thing for your clan / group instead of being everything makes it more immersive for me at least, maybe a hot take, also it seems like the night vision googles are now a mod? THAT IS AWESOME IF ITS THE CASE!
If I recall, you don't max your stats till like day 200, but those new outfit set perks might negate needing those perks. The outfits are the classes, and you can mix and match parts, if I understand them correctly.

I had been waiting for years for this game to get updated for Xbox. Here we are on the eve of such an update, and I finally invested in a PC. At least I'll have mods and random gen 🤷♂️

Just a thought: If you find yourself spending more time controlling the player experience than adding new elements to the player experience (e.g., tweaking progression and loot instead of adding new milestones and task elements), then you're already done.

PC players are getting all the love...we are being told it will all work...eventually...someday...we hope...but crossplay and random map generation will not work ON LAUNCH...but you guys don't care...it ain't you, you don't have to rebuy...and you are not getting told half the features don't work but you are at "parity"...we are getting gaslit.

Also new vehicles : dirt moto, desert buggy, van similar from " whos the boss" with Tony danza for max 4 players, the bus also armoured upgradable with barbed wire on sides and one gun above the engine, caravan two laders one on the back on left, other on the right near the door of entrance with barbed wire on the back and sides moded attached with maximum 5 slots with solar panela and perhaps attached small auto turret wich also another mod is if it is solo player, the player can craft auto turret using sensors ( also the itrn movements sensor can be more usable), the Eléctrical padron or Eléctrical sistem it can be transformed into an water pipe sistem wich player can use more wrench, also if player is upgrading why the tool doesnt decay? When the new deceases appear like cold, tiredness, need rest, need vitaminas, there were an mod with lots of deceases wich player needed to rest more often and needed to find an bed. The semi armoured and perhaps one or two guns. Missing grenade launcher, flame thrower and the fire sistem dont forget because fire will consume wood pois you have a thing wich you can do better on mod war of the walkers fire can consume pois you can use that fire sistem and improve it on game, also needed random eventos similar from the pc game Icarus some times has hard wind, lighting bolts and so, and what is the name of the 7 biomes : green, desert, destroyed áreas, snow, burned and where is it the other 2 or 3 new biomes?

You'd be better off with a used gaming rig for bout 500 to really enjoy the game to it's full extend. And mods of course. Console version will be just roughly 80% of the game.

Console = no big maps, no big cities, no skyscrapers, only 4 player coop, limited hordes, no mods, no dm mode, crappy fps, no random gen (yet, if ever) etc etc... Tell me that ain't worth 20% if not more! You're getting 7dtd barebones on console!
my question is when are we going to get the big updates that can carry over to a pre made world getting tired of having to always make a new world every time a major alpha drops
rendered maps cant update to the newest version, itd delete your world if you want that to be a feature

@@iLLSniper Never. They keep adding blocks and removing others. Once they release all the future dlc in two years, then. But half the fun of playing is the random gen experience, just like minecraft...and why I have 5500+ hours in the game!

Just a personal opinion as a fan, it would be great if there is a update where we can have dog or wolves as partners, they will help us by detection skill and basic attack skill,, they can get knocked down and we have to use med to revive, and having a find spawn point like dog bed, to recall if ever lost.
There were mods that added them years ago. They were more a pain to manage then anything though, needing to be fed and needing meds as well.
@@GaryTabarJr well in the later game we get enough loot to spare, or increasing the number of npc with good dialogue could be good too...

Sorry to hear about the fallen dev. Very good random gen, poi system. Glad burnt forest is back. Need Special infected for deferent biomes. random Creation speed is great. map viewer good. love all this about 7 days. rangen options good. SLEEPING ZOMBIES=GAME KILLER. Game does run better. Cloth as 3rd armor type, like it. POIS and environment artists are the best.

I have had hundreds of hours of enjoyment form this game I bought years ago. I feel like I need to buy it again.
do you play on PC or console? because as a console guy I feel like we got shorted. and yes I know about TFP selling the console version for the runway to keep making the PC version. Yes I know about telltale...and I don't care. That is their cross to bear not mine. It's a little funny they sold the game to the people famous for story telling and still don't have one. Still a year and a half away from finishing the content...if they meet their own timeline...why are PC players so willing to accept that? crossplay and random map gen do not work for console...on launch. we have questions...we just are not getting answers.
@@dannydaye9449 I am a PC player. I am not "accepting" that. I am just observing. At this point i'm happy for anything new in the game now. As for crossplay... The optimization of 7dtd makes this hard for me to see as possible while being enjoyable. The game runs so poorly that I need a mod just to force it to use my GPU more in order to run better. It literally gives everything to the CPU to do as of alpha 21 and below.
I hope they are going to change the rewards for the Challenges. 100XP for every challenge is really low and not very creative. Also, it would be best if the rewards would be magazines in that specific skill. It would add the possibility for players to focus on some challenges.
For example, I would personally love to see a challenge in which you would have to kill 200 zombies with a bow to learn to craft a better bow.
So far for it seems that using specific tools or weapons you are not getting any better in that particular skill.
I played this game years ago when it was still young, I still play it a lot! The only thing I'm REALLY looking forward to is the new character creation. I love everything new you added, but to be honest, Character creation tops it all for me. It is the one thing that was really late to the party lol.
I can't play without "Undead Legacy" but that's not an issue. Undead Legacy add way more content to the game, in a way it feels like an update, because its just so vanilla like. If you can combine some of it in the vanilla game, or just combine the whole mod. You know, work with the creator, 7 Days to Die will definitely become so famous in its genre. Sadly a lot of people doesn't play or even knows about it this amazing game, in comparison to other games in its genre... I think with this new update, the game will be even more famous.
But please, focus on singleplayer content, and multiplayer content together. I do quests alone its really fun, but I also help others.
Bring back our 5 armor slots and 3 clothing slots !!

if ur going to put hazmat suit mod in order to enter waste land then u should also give a suit to trader too i think it will make much more sense. and also can u put a new zombie which has a ability to climb walls and can destroy walls while holding on to it i think it will make more challenging specially in horde.
The old spiders climbed...they were a huge pain for base defense, so they changed them to the jumping spiders instead.

Crossplay already works, but they are waiting on approval from both Sony and Microsoft.
@@space4ace582 if we are not allowed to use crossplay on launch I would argue that it does not work. them saying they "can" do crossplay doesn't tell us why Sony and or MS are not allowing them permission. To me that implies there are issues they see will "break" the ability to maintain crossplay. I just want to know why.

When I select more lakes and rivers in RWG, it's still pretty sparse. Can you add more options to make rivers and lakes more abundant, like 2 - 5 times more than current? And can rivers be made to run through a town or have a lake butt up against a city?

Great game and all but it's sad them talking it up all the time with the 'amazing' and 'super awesome'. Vehicle sounds are still all kinds of messed up, too, in that there's never any correlation between what you're actually doing and the sound that's coming out, so you can be just backing up a little bit but it sounds like you're gunning it.
