Great video again guys, but these should be by size. Some 14 years old are like full grown fellas and others are like tiny kindergarteners lol
That’s how the academy level works. There no weight classes in football. Some kids develop more than others and/or at a faster rate. My brother is 11, but still quite small, so I have him emphasize his strengths, like short/long passing, dribbling in tight spaces and long shooting.
For the smaller children it’s important that they develop elite technical skill to counter the side and strength of other children. This is actually a good thing, as their small size confers a low center of gravity, which helps with agility, speed and dribbling skill. Around this age range of 13-14, they should be focusing on the tactical aspect and at this point. If they don’t have technical skill,m by this age, then they’ll never become professional.
