My grandfather was at Pearl Harbor. 2 WEEKS before the attack, he was put on a work detail to unload 1500 coffins. What the hell were they for? He found out 2 weeks later. Plus, before the attack and after, there were always scout planes in the sky. However, the day of the attack, he looked at the field and every single plane was grounded. Odd don't you think?

It would be good to have the second half of the program, perhaps posted as a part 2

Re dubious statements at 18:40 Wikipedia effectively says the UK unit in Singapore could not have fully decoded the Purple code as of Dec 7th 1941. "Publicly available accounts differ, but the most credible agree that the JN-25 version in use before December 1941 was not more than perhaps 10% broken at the time of the attack,[17] and that primarily in stripping away its super-encipherment."
also "In particular, JN-25 was significantly changed on 1 December 1940 (JN25a); and again on 4 December 1941 (JN25b), just before the attack on Pearl Harbor."
"Climb Nikityama on the 8th of December. " Logic seems all wrong. The IJN would have had to be 1100 km to the West of Hawaii to be over the international date line and into the 8th of December so when they attacked it was the 7th of December as far as their ships were concerned. Maybe the ships ran on Tokyo time ?
