Over 40, 000 anglophone Cameroonians have fled into Nigeria to escape a brutal crackdown onan armed seperatist movement. Since 2016, the crisis has escalated from original calls for more English language representation in the francophone majority nation. In an unfamiliar country with few ressources, many refugees struggle to find water, shelter and food

There 's so much suffering in this world.
The problem is not a language problem, but a governmental problem. English speaking Cameroonian got fade-up of poor decisions by the dominant French government and were looking for a federal country to have more control of their affairs. In protesting, the government reacted by suppression not knowing, the English speaker will not buckle. The real problem lies with the government.
They were sent to say that to create confusion and distract people from focusing on truth and maybe rising and doing something about it.
The problem in Cameroon can be solved in a day, but they are too many traitors and without unity there is no victory. Since the rest of the country is at peace, they don’t care. It shouldn’t be like that. 😭😭 I wish I was a man. Shame to us Bamilekés
Weeeeh Patricia, May your soul Rest In Peace with your entire family. Chaii😭😭😭😭
How absurd it is ! Two group of people just fight for two colonial languages.
its not a language problem
@@lahmusandrine8442 what is it then
Unfortunately that's what has been going on for the past 2 years
In my opinion, The Anglophone crisis in Cameroon isn't an issue of language difference rather it's an issue of geographical origin. There are Anglophone Cameroonians who speak more of French than English but are still marginalized solely because of their place of Origin which is either the North West Region or South West Region.
R.i.p
Saying they want them to return back? Retuned and get killed by forces of biya
Rip
Très triste pitié seigneur
Everyday they arriving Nigeria I hope the appreciate these huge helping hand 🤚 been offered by the Nigerian ppl, now they can feed, live a life without fear of the bastardized Cameroonian army they left behind..
1/3 of businesses in Cameroon belong to Nigerians. They took Douala (mbopi where no Cameroonian has a say)in hostage. Yes feed them, they kinda deserve your “ helping hands”.
No hate 🙏🏾
Ohohohoh sory pitié seigneur pour mes frères et sœurs et enfants 🙏🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Cameroun is a seperate. Cameroun is french speaking and southerncameroons is english speaking soo the war is not lunguitic but territorial secessionist is cameroun language for indepentists
That's what my people are going through. Paul Biya, his cabal and their generations born and unborn will never know peace.
mes condoléances mes freres. nous vous soutenons
En paroles. Il s’agit en fait d’un soutient spéculatif, ce qui n’est d’aucune importance malheureusement!
All things happening and Paul Biyal won't say anything
Lord have mercy
We the southern cameroons need FREEDON
whether we need a 2 state federation or confederation, separation... the truth stands, many of these people are in terrible pain. most of us who have the chance of commenting about it are hardly directly hit by this crisis. so we know of the pain but we dont really feel it.
Rather than continually focusing on what form of state, its time we as Anglophones or Cameroonians per say should come together and find ways to directly assist this brothers of ours. Food, Fees, Skill training, shelter etc.
The world is wicked
what goes around comes around
All this because of some individuals who decided to divide a nation with excuse of marginalization.
poor government men, that president should go ,I am not from Nigeria but I feel pain for what is happening in Nigeria
Dummy it happened in Cameron but they fled to Nigeria
Happened where? 🤣🤣🤣. Just happy someone has no cue about the video 😅
Sad
Paul Biya is really trying

Paul biya u are devilish! R.i p.👹👹👹👹
Hell allthere men have gone, I wonder where? Hmmmm
Both English and French are not African Languages,They are Both “EUROPEAN” Languages,so why are they fighting over The Languages of their Colonizers?!!!!!!
exactly,
Please educate yourself about the Truth before making such comments.
They're not fighting over LANGUAGE like you claim. Back in 2016 the anglophone lawyers were peacefully protesting against the discrimination and marginalization we received from the francophone sector until the government enforced a violent crackdown on innocent civilians. The lawyers began protesting out of frustration because the government was enforcing francophone judges with no knowledge of the British common law system upon the anglophone courts and as a result could not pass fair verdicts/judgements.
The rest is history.
BTW: The anglophone have been neglected and discriminated against by the francophone majority for decades. What we are seeing today is the result of slow building conflict due to colonialism and mismanagement.
My brother am a half Nigerian /cameroonian and I can insure you those people are fighting for the english life style !!! What nonsense. They are fighting over a life style they don't know cause they are not from england. Those people are the most stupid people in Africa they are even killing to get the anglo-saxon life style !!!
@@senayon85 you said it all you guys are fighting for a language that is not yours. You said it that the lawyers were asking for the british common law system, and finally people picked up weapons. That shows you people are fighting and killing your brothers for a language that is not yours. Instead of asking or fighting to create an african law system, you fight and kill to impose the Anglo-saxon system from England in cameroon !!! And what do you call anglophone or Francophone in cameroon ? Are anglophone francophone cameroonian tribes ? You guys from the SW/NW regions are still mentaly colonized that is the reason why you go and cry infront of the white house in USA asking Donald trump a white man to come and intervent in black african troubles, what nonsense ? You guys are a shame to black people.
@@dikandenbe2240 NW & SW cameroonians are fighting for equality and not cultural differences (aka English vs French). They want the same opportunities for progress that have been provided to their francophone counterparts. Its unfortunate that our continent was divided by artificial boundaries and foreign languages of the colonizers. But until Africa unites and does away with those differences people have the right to demand for equal rights and justice. No one wants to be discriminated against simply because they speak a different language. By simplifying your argument to a cultural standpoint you have removed the humanity of those involved. I'm an anglophone person who grew up in French Cameroon and had to deal with the insults of being called "anglofoux" (loosely translated as being mentally unstable). Sometimes the francophone thought they were superior to us simply because they spoke French. Many people I know were denied job opportunities simply because they spoke English. Others were targeted for the same reason. When you go to Cameroon you will see that the francophone regions have improved infrastructure and ammenities.
I wish we as Africans were more aware of how colonialism has divided us and how the colonizers have used this to their advantage. Unfortunately that is not yet the case.
But until then we need to treat our brothers and sisters with dignity. So I cannot fault the anglophone for demanding justice.
Independence or nothing if not cameroon would not exist as we once knew it.
