Today, My Mom, Sheila and I thrift shop at Goodwill and a local thrift store in the Corvallis and Albany Oregon area. We are searching for unique pieces to decorate our homes with for Spring. I love the rapport you have with your mother, listening to you two comment while shopping makes the vlog that much more entertaining. I love planting Hosta and fern in low light areas and under trees, it makes almost any NW yard look lush and somewhat tropical. BTW my 84 year old Dad loves watching your vlogs with me!

I love your channel so much!! I also collect vintage, but my obsession is mainly with slips, sweaters and rhinestone necklaces and sweater clips. I took around 20 vintage slips and repurposed them to wear everyday at work with jeans and cowboy boots with little sweaters and rhinestone necklaces and headbands with flowers and butterflies in my hair. I worked at a county hospital in the pharmacy in California (Bay Area) I got compliments every day and everywhere I went.

Right now I'm growing Romain lettuce from the ends of Romain lettuce. It works! Kind of fun growing stuff from stuff you'd normally toss out. ( I know, not all that exciting. LOL!)

She keeps me in stitches😭 We lost our sweet dog Baby so we are creating a memorial garden in our yard for her and will be planting tulips, hyacinth, and other beautiful colorful flowers. I am obsessed with the short kimono top your wearing for date night the colors are absolutely breathtaking. To answer your question about what I am looking forward to planting or growing this spring and summer. I would have to say my roses as every year I plant more roses for my fur baby Harley who passed away 4 years ago this June. I know you love animals and since Harley crossed the rainbow bridge my roses come back stronger and more fragrant then the year before and I think it’s because of my angel in heaven making sure mommy’s roses make me smile. I am also a cancer survivor and your videos have always kept my spirits up and kept me strong no matter how bad those days became. I am healthy and happy and can’t wait to enjoy the roses again this year.

I can relate with your Mom because I'm from the 70's genre and had a pr. of purple and a pr. of green crushed velvet hip hugger pants with flared leg. I'd take them to the cleaners and have the gal put a severe crease down the front. And a deer colored fringe jacket. I wore a see through white lacey blouce with them. And big chunky heel shoes. Oh my I thought I was uptown . :-) You can grow potatoes in a bucket or planter. They don't take much room or get tall. There's a gal from Ontario Oregen that has a gardenung channel Garden Answers. Great gal great channel.

I love your mom, I lost my mom 10 years ago and I miss her every day. We always shopped together and traveled together. I will be planting tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs, maybe a few annuals almost everything in my gardens are perennials so I don’t plant much now.

Peonies are my favorite plants. Many different colors and shapes. I love the soft pink ones with the layers of petals. Having said that.. currently I don’t have any! I think moon flowers are lovely to plant at the front and have their rich green leaves winding upwards on a veranda railing by the steps..as their plate sized white ‘moon ‘ blooms …only open at night…when you come home from a romantic outing..my favourite
Hi Selina💖 I want to plant a banana magnolia !! The smell is unbelievable. When I was a kid I would put the blossoms in my pocket. My Mama had 2 by her patio and seriously the smell was STRONG but awesome. Selina your Mom is a treasure, she loves her little girl ,it’s so sweetly obvious ✨
I am planting lots flowers, but I am going to 2 more limelight hydrangea. Last fall I planted 2 ,these are a new plants that I am adding to my garden. I love watching your shopping shows with your mom. I live on the east coast but I know your mom and I would be great friends.
I just moved and have to find out what types of plants grow here, as we are partly done with our yard and I am dying for color and greenery!! We do have a nursery nearby that I want to visit. Can’t wait to get it all started! That little cherub baby vase is to die for!! So pretty and reminds me of my Grandma who is going to be 96 in August. She is so special to me! I love her to pieces! ❤️ We have a very special bond. I love how excited you are about all the plants, because I am too! Plus, gardening is so relaxing for me. She passed away when I was 17 and I’m now 75 but still remember the love she shared with me in her own sweet ways. We would have been besties like the two of you if only we’d had the chance for more time. When I see the two of you I see my mom and me. Thank you for sharing her with us. I hope to plant a few more Bearded Iris and maybe a lovely Rose of some type. We have a new puppy and she is into nearly everything now and it will be a challenge planting anything and keeping her out of the soil! We’ll try though! Be happy always! 🥰
Selena you look so lovely in this short kimono jacket even the colors make you glow. Your videos always get a thumbs up before I have even viewed them. I used to have a beautiful flower garden when we lived in a trailer park right after we married, that was over 33 years ago. We purchased a home that had been a heroin house and they were hoarders as well as letting cats and numerous dogs use many rooms as their restrooms. One of the plants I can't wait to find and put in is heliotrope. I love the deep blue-violet color and intense vanilla fragrance, however it has been impossible to find the last 4 years. I'm also looking forward to planting a reblooming lilac,foxglove,hydrangeas, wisteria,Icelandic poppies,deep carmine hardy hibiscus,black hollyhocks,pussy willows and too many more. You are one of a very few CZcamsrs that I automatically give a thumbs up before I even watch your videos. I just love you and your Mom out in The Wild together, I found myself laughing right along with you wild and crazy girls! I just moved to a condo on the beach,so I consider the beach my Garden. Right now I am making memory jars covered in shells, sea glass and chards of vintage china I have collected from the beach. Still on the lookout for a dancing frog vase to add to your family if 2, putting it out in the Universe again is good. Selena that Vintage barkcloth with the double trim was fabulous 👏❤️💕👏❤️.
