- Reviewing the Benchmade Mini Bugout vs the standard Bugout, in a lot of ways they are similar, and in some ways they are different.
I'd highly recommend getting one of these, they have really nice blade geometry with a razor edge that's hart to beat! super smooth you get what you've come to expect from Benchmade with half the weight, it really comes down to which fits your hand best.

I find myself carrying my Mini Bugout more than any other knife I carry.
Love it and not scared to actually use it.
Mine isn’t safety orange anymore from all the mud that it’s worked in
Perfect! a good knife should be used! I find myself using the dugout more but it really comes down to what feels best in your hand, they are basically the same knife can't go wrong either way!

I saw one of the black ones in a knife shop, looks pretty sweet, also just an FYI BenchMade added this to their custom shop so if you have a specific blade/ handle material you want you can make it happen!

LOL yes it has but it still runs like a champ, I like the Tanto tip on it, it's the first knife I reach for when I'm thinking.... I probably shouldn't do this to a knife but....

The spring in the axis lock just needs to be broken in. Mine was super tight at first.
I ordered one and am anxiously waiting for delivery.
you won't be disappointed, I've been very happy with mine, I keep coming back to it because of it's low profile carry in the summer while still delivering full-sized knife performance!
Often carry both. Would like a carbon fiber match to my bugout.
Took the clip off and carry the mini at the bottom of my pocket.

Are u still.using ur mini bugout and regular one and if so have u had any issues with the omega springs breaking on benchmades
I'm still using both and the mini freek as well. I've had no issues with the Omega spring and I've owned 15+ benchmades over the years. I've heard o the spring issue from other people but never had an issue myself.
considering BM has a lifetime warrantee just send it in if it ever breaks on you they'll get you fixed up.

@@danielvargo4498 Thank you!, I like the CF Elite it's sick, been eyeing the carbon fiber version 535-3 but it's not cheap lol we'll see. it seems like the more I spend the more likely I will use it
