Thanks for the review Brian. I carry the Chaparral most of the time, over my small Sebenza, and other Spyderco knives for those reasons. I love the thinness of the blade, and it’s so Slicey. Then carry a flipper, when I feel the need to fidget, but I can spidey flick the Chaparral, and find it does deploy like a dream as well.

Of course, it being Spyderco forums, most everyone on there recommended the Chap...which is what I ended up buying. So far, I'm super happy. I love my Chap. Perfect office and household EDC, IMO. I personally like the Delica 4 and the Mini Bugout over the Chaparral . The Chaparral blade is just to thin and flexes a little more than I like and I never could break in the back lock on mine . The Delica is more sturdy and has a better back lock for me . The Mini bugout has the slightly thicker blade also and is super light in my pocket.

I think the ukpk s110v is a better comparison to the bugout mini, but maybe it's just me. The specs are closer, biggest difference is the lock (lack thereof). In this size range, I don't find a lock to be necessary, though. I do like my chaparrals, though. Only knife I have more than one of.
