I know how hard it is sometimes when we want to know where we should be with our lash sets and how long they should be taking us. I hope these little, not really tips but facts help you clarify why your sets are taking long and what you can do to help them speed up a bit.
Comment down below if this helped at all!

Iv practiced on like my 7th client and now it depends. If they have many lashes then it takes me 3-4 hours and if they don’t have as much it takes 2.30-3.30 hours..I feel so sad bc towards the end my clients start to move around..I get pressured lol. But watching your videos make me feel so happy!! 💓
I love how you keep your slip ups in video without editing them out. Glad to know I’m not the only one who makes mistakes 😅
Thanks So Much..some days I go home and cry. Then come right back to work the next day and keep smiling because I love Lashing
The main thing is that you still show up everyday and that's what will turn you into a successful lash artist! I am here to help anyway I can, thank you for watch
Thank you. I’m literally crying right now cause yesterday I spent about 4hrs just filling one eye and partially filling the other. The client had to go home.. it was a hybrid set. I’m hoping she comes back today. I was just so discouraged and I felt like maybe this whole lashing stuff is not meant for me. And when I complain to my teacher about my timing, she screams!! And it makes me feel all bad. But now I know that 6hrs really isn’t the worst.. it’s bad yes but I’ll get better. Thank you for this glimmer of hope
One of my favourite videos from you! Thanks for the encouragement :)
I love all of your videos!! They have helped me so much with my future lashing career❤️
Thank you so much for your comment!! I really appreciate it! I’m so happy I could help you! 💕💕💕
this made me feel better , i’m so hard on myself in the very beginning but your making me understand this is a learning process 💕
I just want to say that this is exactly the video I needed to see, I finished a client and it took me 6hrs and I was not happy with the results because I felt like I could’ve added more. She had a longer lash line and it was so difficult to isolate… at this point I’m venting lol but I really appreciate the this video !!
Ok me too 6 hours
Thank you! I felt awful that on my first model (my little sister) I took over 3-4hrs for a classic set and didn't even do all her lashes. I didn't want to invest in all the proper equipment yet incase I end up not liking lashing people so my back hurt like crazy haunching over her on the floor. 😨
Ohhh Noo I’m so sorry that happened!! But don’t worry 3-4 hours isn’t actually bad for your first time! Keep trying give it a good amount of time!
I’m so happy I’m taking advice from you. You make me feel comfortable and confident 😊
Thank you so much for all your help !
I find it's so confusing off the start of knowing if your going to slow or how well you are doing!
Your videos are truly amazing ❤
Yea that’s super common! But don’t worry, everyone is at their own pace! 💕
You spoke nothing but truth!! One tip that helped me tons is when practicing which you should do everyday!! Practice with tweezers on both hands at all times, that way your hands can get that muscle memory and when your client comes you have a very good idea of where your other hand is best positioned etc
Thank you so much for the support! Yess that’s absolutely sooo true!! Definitely getting used to 2 hands is a must! Love that tips ❤️❤️
I definitely needed to hear this! Thank you so much for the encouragement
Omg!!! I appreciate this motivated video, I’m new and today I kept focusing on time and was being inpatient with myself and becoming irritated.. Thanks for posting this🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much, you have really help me
These are great tips!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Yes this video helped me not stress out about timing because I was taking longer with some clients then others, so I was thinking how can I be getting worse 😰
I’m so happy you said that because that’s exactly what I was trying to do!! It’s apart of the process! And your ganna be killing it so soon! Don’t stress over it just practice! ❤️
I love 💕 how you slip up your video this makes me to learn more thanks that's very nice 👍
i don’t do classic sets often and i seriously am not trying to take forever but like damn it takes me damn near 4-5 hours depending on the amount of lashes they have 😢😂
Ugh girl same.
I take like 3-4 hours and I charge $45 for all styles (just started in the past 2 months)
So the price depends on how many hours or how do you go on your prices how can I know
is there any amazon glues that you would recommend , im having issues with retention ive been using stacy lash glue . I also have used Liv Bay lash glue and same issues and im applying the lashes close to the base
I honestly don't recommend any amazon adhesives. I've had such bad experiences with them. Give ours a try, I swear by it! flowrishlashes.com/collections/adhesive
Because l'm going through the same thing with me and my client, they will be saying you are taking too long
my classics take like 4.5 hours oh my, but i understand it takes time for timing…. Does taping layers help with timing? Do you do one eye, then the other or Both at the same time
Keep practicing, you'll get there! Yeaa that can help seeing the lashes better which could make you faster. Give it a try! I always do both eyes at the same time it's easier for me and it can help with timing as well!
How you should price your sets? On how many hour takes or on each type of set?
Good question! I would say on the actual type of set because time can vary with every client!
Thank you very much!
Omg you said 9 hours I thought I was doing bad when it took me 3.5 hours on my mannequin when I did volumes. It’s pretty easy to me right from my first time doing it. Wow but I haven’t done it on a real person yet so idk lol
That's really good!
Is it faster doing it on someone else other than yourself ? It’s like my 5x I’ve done it myself and oh boy it takes me 6+ hrs 😭😭😭😭
Practice makes perfect. I did a hybrid set last night with pre made fans and some liv bay pre made fans. It took me a good 6.5 hours 🥲🥲 I just know one day we are going to be pro
@@y2ksophia508 yesssss manifesting that both for us 💕 thank you for the positive comment mamas pushing through & practicing right now !!!
