Quick question? My loc has more than just blue and white wires on it? Do I only connect the blue and white wires on my loc to the blue and white braided wires
Put both negatives together and both the plan colored together. You will not use the brown as those are ground wires. Then attach to the 1 negative wire in the harness and the 1 positive wire on the harness.
Appreciate the video. I tapped the rear passenger on my 2022 LT trail boss. The wire loom on the passenger foot well the wire colors for me were blue with black and a white wire. the pac loc you use is so simple and works great.. Thanks keep up the great work

Hooked everything up and no signal. SNI-35 hooked up to blue/black and white on right side (rear woofer signal wire). Verified power in/out sub, signal seems to be the issue. Cannot figure this out.
You could possibly have a bad SNI-35 If not I would buy an RCA to headphone adapter. Plug the RCA side into the amplifier and then plug the headphone into a phone and play music through it and see if that works

I appreciate the video...helped me install my 2 12s under the rear seat and amp in my new 22 Silverado custom non Bose...after hooking up it sounds amazing...but question now the highs are not high enough so if I wanna run another amp for my highs would I have to run another sni-35 for highs amp and then another power,remote,and ground for new amp or can I jump off the original amp like old school
In the Silverado custom cause I have the 2.7 turbo not V8... it's a different setup under the hood...i did use the drive side yellow wires to hook up the PAC and rim the rca wires...but i decided to run the power wire threw the firewall rubber grommet behind the battery on the passenger side it gave me more power wire...I also removed the the floor jack under the seat and used the bolt and screw that was used to hold the factory jack down for the ground and hid it under the carpet...I have a double cab...I used the ground shacker box made very well with 2-12" hifonics subs... pioneer d9601 mono 2400 amp...sni-35...and soundbox eck4 4 gauge wiring kit made with good quality wires...sounds amazing and wasn't what I was expecting it to sound like...been in the car audio world for 20+ years

Ok I know I have to run the power from the battery, this video says green wire on the driver side. Should I tap into the yellow? @@keithervin2348I did almost everything the same as the video...the remote goes to the tab in the passenger side fuse box...I ran my power wire on the passenger side behind the battery threw the fire wall there is a black rubber grommet with other wires going threw it,it's kinda a pain to reach up under the dash to get it but use a flash light and take your time...I hooked the pac up on the driver side i believe its green or yellow wire cant remember but its the only two wires that are branded/twisted together tap into that...then run your rca wires...I removed the jack from under the rear seat...I used one of the post for my ground...I have two 12s in a ground shacker box,2400 pioneer champion amp...I plan to add another amp for my highs

Ok so this video helped tremendously but I do have a issue with my setup I did something wrong and could use some help lol ok so with everything plugged in and wired Up I have almost no bass but if I take one of the rc cables out of the amp it works like a charm but as soon as I plug the second rc cable in the amp it loses 90% of the bass any thoughts as to why and could I just run it as is with one rc cable to the amp
Why are you running the power down the driver side? Could it possibly cause interference with the sound? and just curious why did y’all run through the driver side with the power and not use the accessory port on the passenger side? I have the 2021 RST duramax and will install my in the morning I am going to use the kisloc2 from kicker in hopes I don’t have to run the remote wire from the fuse but I do like this build I’m going with kicker 10 l7t with a 1200.1 kicker amp so I hope it’s not over kill lol Great video guys
No we usually run them down the driver side on all Silverados but this one is probably going to be easier to run down the passenger side. We've done a few since then and we started doing them down the passenger side. Either way is fine you can run it on the driver side or the passenger side

It sounds good but just depending on how loud you like your music. I love my music loud with the windows down so I would definitely upgrade my speakers if it was my vehicle. Some people would probably be more than happy with what this is without upgraded speakers.

@@octanetvchannel no it is not a mono signal if you are connecting to the left rear speaker. You need both left and right input for a true mono signal.
My 2024 Silverado 1500 non Bose doesn’t have the Lug on the passenger side fuse panel for the remote wire. Is it possible it could be located elsewhere?
Silly question, but since you are using a PAC line convertor and that is a non-BOSE system, why not use a PAC LPHGM71 T-Harness for the speaker leads, remote wire and power for the line convertor? You can do everything on the passenger side of the truck and you don't have to tap any of the factory wires or the fusebox. The harness takes care of that for you. Not trying to be critical, just curious.

You only have to tap into one speaker it is a mono signal. You will need to connect both negatives on the LOC together. Then you will connect both of the positives together and connect the positive side of the LoC into the positive of the speaker lead. Then connect both negatives into the negative lead of the speaker. If you get it mixed up it won't matter because it's a mono signal. I also have multiple videos on how to hook up an LOC on our channel
It probably depends on the amplifier the one that we use is class d. It's very efficient. I would definitely check your voltage going into the amplifier and make sure that it's staying above 12.5. it could be a bad ground or not enough gauge of power wire

I’ve tried everything possible, still have slight hiss in speakers. Ground is good, still have sound with NO RCA input, amp is T400 Rockford fosgate, LC5i pro LOC, sky high wire. The ground reads 0.4 OHM. Power wire is ran outside of the vehicle. RCAs are reputable brand. Not sure what else to do. Tried multiple amps. Multiple LOCs. Gains are at appropriate level with amp input set to 4volts with multi meter. Any help is appreciated!
The box is sitting on top of of the floormat 🤦🏻♂️ You gotta take it all out to clean the floormat? Also, the firing subs could be damaged because they could potentially hit the protruding part of the floor mat. 🤔
You only need to tap one. If you get a chance watch our other video that we posted up about 5 to 6 months ago about how to install an l o c or line output converter. It will tell you a step-by-step process as well
@@octanetvchannel So I just hooked up a Alpine MRV-250 to one subwoofer. I used the signal level for on/off but when the amp shuts down I get a terrible humming noise and it seems like the amp won’t shut down at times. I have a good ground. Any suggestions on what I should look at? Thanks.

Typically it's a female quit connect plug. Mainly they use them for speakers or other things similar. You could probably even use like female speaker terminal connection or connector
Passenger side of the dash You can remove that panel and there is a metal terminal sticking out which is switched ignition. We have a few other videos on Silverados as well

The only thing i dont like is the terminals on top of the sub box. should be located on the back or bottom. out of sight. NICE INSTALL
Connecting to the 2 green wires wont that only give you 1 side of the left and right channels?
It is a mono signal going into a sub amplifier. If you're connecting a highs amplifier you will definitely want to use both left and right speakers

I would use the bolt that jack...go under carpet and then run the nut you took off

You can ground it to any of the seat bolts underneath the rear seat
