I remember watching my Mom and Dad dancing to this song in our living room when I was a kid. I just adored how they just locked eyes, hand in hand and with smiles ear to ear and thinking how lucky I am to see them like that and till this day when I hear this song it takes me back to that same day. my grown grand children sing Luther and TeddyP, they grew up on what I feel is the best music of all times...The Temps, Luther, TeddyP, Lionel Richie, Barry White as well as Stevie Ray and many of the Blues greats & soft jazz, music that means something, everyone can sing to, it was a time when music was REAL not the garbage they pump out now from a computer lab. My only problem is that he was boxed in the R&B category, where as I think he transcended the genre. So whilst he was recognized, he never got the recognition he deserved.
