i got samson short shots and i feel like they're a hair louder. could just be the recording though. also, i get this crazy sound when i engine brake. like when semis use the jake brake. whenever i let off the gas its like BAAAH BAHHHBAM BAM BAADAHHHHHH. it's jetted right and everything, and i f'ing love it.

@@HarleyBreakoutGuy Oh, thanks for the info. I'm a big fan a loud pipes cause I think the sound of bike is a part of the experience ( among a lot of other things of course ), but I'm aware that it might not be ideal for longer rides....as you confirmed lol.
Have you tried earplugs for the wind noises ?
@Todd Spikes yes they do I think it was the late 1980 or early 90s that Honda had similar engine only one year, HD patent rights on it. That Honda must be a collector I would think.

Well even now cuz I haven't been riding in like almost a month,my bike kinda broke,it's at the mechanic now, gonna get it from there soon but I'm gonna sell it afterwards but that's ok the weather here is not gonna be for riding anymore anyway so till March hopefully gonna have the money for my new bike !

Back in 1982 I had Kawasaki H2 750 two stroke with Denco stinger's expansion chamber's I the middle of the night you can hear me over a mile away when I crack her open. I'm sure some of you know where am coming from.

I have a Honda, I have a Suzuki, i have a Kawasaki, but None of them sound like my Harley, it's Harley's trade mark, awesome
This is why Harleys are special because of the authentic all american harley sound - having said that let me say this, the Milwaukee 8 doesn't sound like a Harley sadly.

That sound is just like audio crack... Just pure euphoria. Great quality video man, damn good sound quality and the camera is remarkably still considering the vibration.. You must have decent gear. Ive seen terrible videos and good ones and you my friend I must say are of the latter.

I currently have the V&H Big Radius on my Fat Boy. But I did at one point have the short shots on my XL1200C. In your opinion, do you think as I that the Short Shots sound better than the 2+2 Big Radius?
Big radius sounds better for the riders but short shots are made for pedestrians
