Taemins body control is just astonishing
To be honest the preformance from him that always gives me chills no matter how many time I watch it is his Live Preformance of “Sexuality”. His stage presence will make you freeze *through the screen* I would *not* want to be the one on the direct end of some of the looks he gives on stage. The literal epitome of looks can kill is Lee Taemin. Any live performance from him just gives you an idea of that overwhelming power that he holds. To truly understand how much he actually changes on stage you need to see videos of what he’s like off stage with his band mates or friends. He’s so sweet and shy and giggly and quite frankly awkward. And then he performs and you have a hard time believing it’s the same person. It’s no wonder that so many idols look up to him for his skill.
That flirty smile towards the end omg lol. But the performance as a whole i find utterly amazing but then again its taemin no explanation required lol now i need to watch it again

Totally agree with you on the fact that Taemin kinda stands out from the other k-pop scene. Both with his breathy kind of vocals and his way of dancing. A superb performer, no questioning that. And his live shows are simply great.
I love how androgynous Taemin is and how different he sounds. Glad that you got to watch him in a live performance. He’s a true artist.
Taemin is a legend in K-pop almost every dancer looks up to him because his fluidity and how relaxed and everything is. But honestly his voice is different but it's his own style like all of his songs are truly amazing they have similar sounds to this. But like visually music video wise breathtaking choreography wise truly art. Especially when he was on hit the stage which is a K-pop dance show for Idols who can create their own choreographies and perform. His performances were outstanding
One of the things I love about Taemin is his facial expressions when performing. He genuinley looks like a different person when he performs because his mannerisms completely change and his eyes are in a constant glare. Off stage though his face is relaxed and he looks like the sweetest boy lol. It's just so interesting to see how he gets into his groove.

About the difference to other kpop acts, they say that a lot about SHINee as a whole, that they have their own color, and it's true. The music is always different, the styling and choreo too. It's SO good
I had a chance to see his solo stage on SHINee concert in my country. The stage was huge, he was performing Goodbye (you should check this masterpiece) alone, no backup dancer, only him. But you know what? The stage felt so full with him on it. His presence on live stage was crazy. I know he is a great dancer, I've been a loyal Shawol since the beginning. But seeing SHINee's performance live was a different energy than any other concerts I had attend. They are a truly remarkable live performers. His solo stage remains superior for me..
@Harmon McCraw Jonghyun's sounds even better in live performance, you can clearly feel the emotions in every note and word of the song he delivers. He's shinning bright just like his name, bling bling. But most importantly, he makes abundant eye contacts with his audience. There was a time when I felt like we had an eye contact for a solid five seconds, while I was muttering 'I love you' over and over again. I hope he's indeed saw me said that words. Those five seconds felt so magical.
@Harmon McCraw They are tall and looked tall because of their crazy body proportions with small waists and broad shoulders. And we know our Jonghyun wore insoles, so he is always around Taemin's height :) Their skins are flawless and looked like porcelain dolls under a spotlight, very beautiful. Minho is crazy handsome, but when we saw them live, people around me agreed that Jonghyun definitely a scene stealer in the room. He's sooo charismatic, his facial features are so sharp and his eyes are sparkling. There is something that's oozing from him that I cannot explain, he is so composed, well spoken and attentive to his surrounding. All of them are simply breathtaking. Wish I could turn back time to saw them on stage again.

I think Taemin is one of the few kpop artists that doesn’t “perform” in dance practice videos, so it’s hard to get a full sense of his stage presence/persona by watching those alone. I think this is especially apparent in the Want dance practice, in which he really displays the groove of the song well, as opposed to the mesmerizing/captivating energy that is given on stage.
Just to add some interesting fact - this performance was filmed during last concert of his long solo tour in Japan (with this being a three days finale) and he performed this song during encore, after almost two hours of constant dancing and singing, yet you can’t really notice how utterly tired he was since his stage presence is out of this world. Taemin is truly amazing artist and to see him live is something I wish for everyone to experience themselves. I was completely blown away during each and every one of his concerts and wouldn’t hesitate to pay a fortune to be able to see him perform again.

Harmon McCraw I hope you’ll have a chance to see him one day solo, it’s really unforgettable experience! We can only hope for pandemic to end sooner rather than later and Taemin having world tour before he has to enlist (probably around the end of next year? I’m not completely sure).
As for Jopping with SuperM I agree, he does it with immense energy and power and it’s a pleasure to witness, but you have to remember than not only were SuperM concerts shorter, but also he wasn’t the sole performer on stage, so there was quite a few moments for him to rest a bit. Still, I think Taemin’s stamina is unbelievable and he delivers till the very end.
I would love to see him in concert. I've seen him on CZcams and I'm blown away every time.
Taemin is idol's idol, his songs are often in japanese cuz he likes the language so I think if u would want to react to the actual MV so the reaction would be blocked or something. Japan is strict if we talk about copyright #welcomecopyrightstrike. Also yEs, I highly agree with the fact that Taemin is completelly different person when he performs on the stage. Stage plays great role in his live, he spend I can say childhood on it >< He's kinda unique dancer, Taemin wants to show off his full ability when he dances that is a reason why he's the best when he's on stage as well. This boy has amazing friendship with his choreographer too _(she is japanese btw and danced with him in HIT THE STAGE show ^^)_

he has many songs in japanese because shinee is crazy popular in japan. shinee themselves has released many japanese singles. taemin sells out any venues of his concert. he is in high demand. as such, him and shinee releases song both in korean and japanese.

I’d add Dream Girl, Sherlock and Replay. Fetus Taemin is just too adorable and you can appreciate how far he has come. IMO Move is so impressive because it was so different to what he had done before.

He's got a really good stage presence. And I love how his songs are different but you can still recognize the Taemin style to it. His songs are bouncy, have a lot of bass, and make you want to dance.

Taemin's performances always leave me feeling like i'm in some sort of trance. They're not the kind to make you pause a bunch throughout to scream over certain parts, but rather the kind to draw you in and leave you at least a little dumbfounded by the end. He has a very calming quality to him; even when he's going super hard, he makes it seem easy and effortless. I think a lot of that is in his facial expressions, which tend to almost never show signs of tiredness or discomfort.
Obviously this changes when he's doing something more emotional, such as sayonara hitori.

I’ve seen it live and I have to say the precision and energy from both him and his dancers was simply breathtaking! And to think that Famous was performed as an encore to his more than 2 hours long solo concert... Honestly I couldn’t believe my own eyes - the amount of control, power and charisma that he has is impossible to describe. He commands the stage in every possible way, he demands your undivided attention and gives you the best possible live concert experience you can possibly imagine. Not to even mention that I love his music and personality. There is no better artist than Taemin, I can’t wait for his comeback and everything he has to offer!

When is about Taemin, I think the best is react to his live performances, because on stage is when he gives his 100%, for something he is called "The Performance King"✨.
I don't know if you could react to this ( czcams.com/video/PhtvsSo_Ba8/video.html ) because is a bit long, but if you want to see how amazingly versatile Taemin is, you NEED to watch that medley from his solo concert. There are 5 songs, Holy Water, Heaven and Shadow that showcase Taemin's more theatrical type of performance and then Guess Who and Sexuality that is his more energetic and sexy type of choreography. Seriously, If you can't react to it, at least watch it by yourself. You will not regret it!!

The amazing thing with Taemin is that no matter what dancing style you give him, he makes it his own! Danger and Sayonara Hitori are two of his songs really different with each other. Also I think it would be interesting if you reacted to strong girl group choreos, there a few quite hard!
His dancers in the dance practice are his backup dancers on his tour too, they're really great.
I recommend you to check out Taemin - "Flame of love dance version" to see another much different style of dancing from Taemin, but the choreographer is the same one as MOVE, it's interesting.

My thoughts are that I know I shouldn’t be shocked b/c it’s taemin but i am every time because he never fails to impress. This is was is latest comeback japanese MV “Famous” to his 3rd JPN mini album ‘FAMOUS TAEMIN’ which was released August 28th 2019 and he’s part of a SM collaboration group called “SuperM”. Taemin is now working on his next comeback we are hoping he continue to have the confidence to continue with carrying the SHINee name while waiting for his brothers return which the countdown has started.

Thats my man! 🔥 go check SHINee (taemin's group) jeff. Shinee is SM hidden gem and a true legend. periodt. Hoshi from seventeen is a big big big fans of Taemin and Shinee. that's what made him what he is now. both Hoshi and Seventeen are very influenced by Shinee. Shinee is always labeled as a group with hella good synchronization, and seventeen upholds it very much so that is what makes seventeen a group that has good synchronization after Shinee.
Trivia: Han Sung Soo, Pledis Entertainment CEO (Seventeen's labels) is the one who casted Shinee member before he left SM and made Pledis 😆
Taemin is no joke one of the best dancers I've seen, all his movements are controlled, and he really looks like he's moving effortlessly, like it's natural ! and this choreography wouldn't be the same without his back up dancers, they add some harmony, weight and dynamism to the whole dance, and gotta say, his japanese back up dancers are always the best.

I would LOVE to see your reaction on Taemin's Thirsty! His Move #3 MV with Koharu Sugawara made me his fan (so really recommend it) and his choreographies are amazing. Or another live stage is 'taemin sayonara hitori tour Sirius concert' on S.D channel.
Jeff I think that you would really like shinee's choreos. You should check out something like everybody and married to the music (the livestages). Shinee has such a variety of music and dance, I think that they are one of the most versatile groups in terms of music and dance.

This is one of my fav songs and performances because he is dressed in a simple way but the way he moves, sings and his blond hair wow that's a look. The way he dances mesmerize me, I feel like he took my soul. His duality is crazy, I'll always listen to his music and watch him dancing for sure. He always has misterious look on stage, but out stage he is super cute. Sometimes I'm wondering if I watch same person.

4. sexuality (there is unfortunately no dance practice video or mv, only live stages, but this is a legendary performance)
Taemin is just, a different breed of idol. He debuted with Shinee at age 14 (!), he auditioned for SM at age 12 and was accepted immediately. He has worked hard his entire career - because he debuted so young, his voice was still breaking and he was told he couldn't sing at all. He trained to the point of exhaustion with a vocal coach to improve and get to where he is today. He is one of the most compelling performers I have ever had the pleasure to see live. Once you open up requests again, I'm gonna recommend Shinee, because god DAMN that group can do everything.

Yeah, this hair was his SuperM promotion hair. That’s really the only semi reliable timeline in kpop. Lol. Taemin has a very commanding sensuality. Feminine, masculine, he doesn’t care, he knows who he is and he commands it.

He's not only just a great performer, but also has a very clear vision of everything he wants to do, that's why there's a term "T-pop" because his music is just so different from others, varied to one another but you still can't pinpoint that they're Taemin's

You need to watch a full Taemin concert for all his different styles. Taemin is just on another level. I love when he's performing and holds his pose at the end of the song all serious and then breaks out into a heart melting smile. ❤

the choreographer for famous is really amazing! he's just as good as taemin (if not better) and he worked together with taemin in order to choreograph famous. one of the reasons i love taemin's japanese comebacks, the dances are always immaculate.
