First time watching, and immediately, even before they spoke, I knew who was from where.
Qui Tran thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you check out my other videos.
Alabama Accent vs Louisiana
Alabama Accent vs West Virginia
South Alabama Accent vs north Alabama Accent. I hope you subscribed.
It’s the glasses and the way they were sitting... jersey love our glasses 😂
Everytime the Alabama lady talked I was like yeeees! Lol! I live in Alabama (Etowah)
Same.. but thats an easy point out
It’s definitely the shades Im born and raised in Jersey so I can spot us anywhere
the jersian is def more staten island italian, im from north jersey
Natalie Chica she is 15 mins from NYC.
True Southern Accent oh wow I’m 30 minutes from nyc
So I have lived in NJ for 65 years and have never really heard any real Jersey accents.
being from jersey the lady on the left took the words right out of my mouth haha
i have 2nd hand embarrassment for the guy that told her to say practical joey 😂😂
I’m from Kentucky and now that I live in the Midwest the second I hear a southern accent I get a second of joy and feel a little more at home.
I was raised in jersey. Somehow my jersey accent mixed with New York and Boston.
New Jersey accents are just Brooklyn accents dialed down
Same here. I'm from Bergen county
I knew before the video started that she was the one from Jersey with a her style of dressing and the shades. 😎 They’re a must in Jersey! Once she spoke I knew she was from north Jersey with her accent. She’s a Jersey girl for sure.👍🏽
Not all people from New Jersey sound the same. People from South Jersey sound different from people in North Jersey and this woman is definitely from North Jersey.
Agreed. People from South Jersey, especially around the Pine Barrens, have very weird accents.
and then central jersey has a mix of both.
yeah bro she said taylor ham..... it’s PORK ROLL
I’m from Trenton (Tren en) and it’s Pork roll allll day!
When she said Taylor ham I was like no it’s pork roll and ppl from north Jersey sound like ppl from ny
It's always nice when people from different places meet and get along
Yes it is. I love meeting people.
You folks are great! I have lots of family in Georgia and North Carolina but I am born and raised in Northern Jersey. We all have a great time sitting around a fire making fun of each others way of talking.
MM2 PitSnipe DarkenShip I would love to make a video when all y’all get together. Thanks for watching my videos. I have other states vs Alabama accent.
That is the most southern accent I’ve ever heard😂I’ve been to tennnesse and it’s thicker. I’m from jersey
I was born and raised in Brooklyn until I was 15 then moved to NJ. Been in NJ for almost 35 years now. Someone from New Mexico once told me I had a 25% NY accent and 75% NJ which was pretty accurate.
I love how you do not have to leave the country to enjoy other culture
The US is actually quite huge. You’d travel through many different European countries if you traveled as far through Europe as far as you move from Alabama to New Jersey. I’m an Alabama native
It would be fun to hear you guys go to Brooklyn, Boston, and other places like Fargo too. When I think about where I come from in northern western New York (Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties), it is close to standard American English but has some different local idiosyncrasies if one pays attention. There is a type of twang in the rural areas, different from the southern twang though, and there are also other nuanced variations. Regional accents are fun. Love your channel!
My family is from New England and we live in the south so i have a mix of both accents. So like when he head back north i sound weird and when we are in the south i sound weird
New Jersey definitely has biscuits. This lady is out of her mind.
the southern breakfast must be slamming, in NJ we are just plain... probably just bagels.. etc..
Mac Mel thanks for subscribing
Not true, pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel. Come on
@@greenmachine5600tastes like shit honestly
In from CA and I thought this video was fantastic!
Well Thank you for loving it. I hope we made you laugh. We had fun making that video.
im from jersey yes i talk like that
Biscuits with butter and grape jelly is delicious
Yeah I love that southern accent. When I go down south to visit my family I try to hide my Jersey accent but I always get exposed. I stick out like a sore thumb and everybody be asking me to repeat stuff because they wanna hear me talk
That is funny. When I lived in San Antonio TX they said the same thing to me. Everyone talked like Jennifer Lopez to me. I did not understand why until I moved to Tupelo Mississippi. I was amazed how they talked in Mississippi. Well start a CZcams channel as New Jersey accent. I never thought I would be famous of the way I talk. Thanks for watching my video.
I’m from New Jersey and I could tell it’s the lady on the left because I couldn’t hear anything from her lmao
I do jelly on a biscuit or I’ll throw cranberry sauce in between the biscuit. The only time I’ve had these is during Thanksgiving/Christmas
I have never thought of Cranberry sauce in my southern homemade biscuit. We eat biscuits about everyday. Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
Hahaha that’s so strong and badass sôce biskit New Jersey accent is my favorite accent up to date in my life
😂this is mad genuine.
But before they spoke, I knew who was from where. That tan don't lie, Jersey.
No lie, I enjoy southerners talk.
Gives me that awe feeling.
I'm from jersey, so yeah lol.
LOL. Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
Do Jersey people have a accent? I met a guy from there and was s shocked of his accent 😆😅 he was a black man but if I hadn't seen him talk I would of swear he was from another country over seas some were😅
@@reshaundaliv9176 of course, everyone has an accent.
Joey Diaz is a real North Jersey accent
She said “ To mata “ 💀🤣
I’m from New Jersey and this is so true loll
I've had some of my best meals prepared in the south ❤️ New Jersey still have the best pasta and sandwiches ❤️
Your mind will be blown going to south jersey to find their people who have a similar rural accent to you guys. Sure you can probably youtube a few southern jersey rural accents, lot of people even in jersey arent aware!
+fawnnah h Thank You. I will keep that in mind if I ever go to Southern Jersey.
@@TrueSouthernAccent South jersey here. I have gone to Florida on the bus and people I talked to from the south had a hard time believing I was from NJ. I sound nothing like that north jersey girl in your video. We do have a rural accent that used to be called the clam digger accent, but these days is often mixed with Philly accent, but in lower South jersey you can still hear a mild twang without the Philly influence, mainly in the rural and pineland sections.. You will mainly find this among older folks coz after 1978 we were invaded by Las Vegas folks who brought their own accent.
Thanks for explaining that. Thanks for watching my videos.
I can attest to that as well. I've been asked by my own Jersey people if I'm from the south. I definitely do use alot of philly slang tho like calling the outside water valve a "spicket" and subs are "hoagies" 😆 I know people in South Carolina couldn't guess where I was from when they tried.
I'm from south jersey and we sound like Philadelphia people from north Jersey sound like New York
Needed someone from Boston there too
This would make a great buddy movie
I'm from Jersey and yes her accent is legit
No it sounds nothing like Central Jersey so it's only legit because it's north Jersey or it actually reminds me of New York to be honest with you
Nah, that's not Jersey.
@@nirvanalynn2137 yes it is
We have biscuits in Jersey
She's veryyyy north Jersey! We have middle & south too. Completely different regions.
I can’t agree with this representative of NJ. She is clearly sauced. U can say it how u want
when she said if ur from italy u call it gravy... i almost thru up in my mouth 🤮
Adriana Guglielmello old school ginnys from jersey call it gravy. She looks like she’s from Belleville or Bloomfield, One of the Italians who’s family left Newark from back in the day
I agree
Real Italians call it sauce, NOT gravy.
@@markbenevento6020 "ginnys"?
Yea, you can look at this woman and tell she is from the north. Around the Amboys due North. In south Jersey their ascent sounds like a person that speaks to pine trees and tip cows for fun.
R u guys retired? U seem to travel often
I used.to live in New Jersey I was born and raised in Jersey i live I WV people call shoping cart a buggy I think it's funny and I still have my new jersey accent after twenty thee years I love it people used ask me if I was from New York or Boston I would say no I was from New Jersey I still say pie that's a jersey saying maiden manic we love you new jersey. New jersey rocks and I never said biggie I always said sub up the irons🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🎸🎸🎸🤘🤘❤️❤️❤️

That is where this video was made at the restaurant at ACE adventure the lake within the blow up stuff. I have a video on ACE Adventure. I have a lot of videos on WV check them out on my playlist. Please subscribe.
I live in outside of Charleston WV so would you want to do a video? I would love to do one with you. My name is Susan too.
I live right next to Donaldsons farm !!!
I'm from North Jersey she speaks similar to me.
@Spit on it paw paw lmfao
She says she doesn’t have a good Jersey accent... SHE DOES lol.
People probably already know that I'm a former Marylander, just by hearing a couple sentences from me down here in North Jersey
She’s either originally from Staten Island or Brooklyn or her grandmother lived there and she spent sundays there. Pasta? It’s macaroni. Sauce has no meat. Gravy has meat.
I think she is from the Brooklyn area.
That’s funny… just looking at her she’s stereotypical Jersey. Sunglasses INDOORS too haha
Well there was a reason. I hope you can figure it out. LOL
I’m from north jersey
Id fall down dead happy if you found a real Floridian and did an accent video with them. In central florida most people in the country have southern accents. Used to be the same everywhere but the city dont have many real OGs left. The real floridians are kinda like georgians or alabamans but also their own thing. Believe it or not it aint just North Florida thats part of the South! Anyway thanks for the fun videos.
I can't imagine calling sausage gravy and biscuits--- sausage sauce and biscuits. Or spaghetti sauce-- spaghetti gravy. 👀
I know the north is messed up.
Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
Knew right away she’s from Jersey by the outfit and tan😂
I love southerners to death.
Can you do a Alabama vs Georgia accent preferably South Georgia or north Georgia (not Atlanta)
Maybe I will meet someone one day and say hey do you want to do a accent challenge with me.
I'm from Alabama but people always say that my accent sounds closer to Jersey. Even though she has more of a North Jersey accent, I can officially say that my accent is far from an Alabama one lol
I'm from jersey and she sounds like she's from new york...
I literally say all of those words you made fun of differently.
jay Weiss she does work in NYC and lives 15 mins away.
Yes you're right I'm from Central Jersey and she sounds like she's from New York City
no biscuits here!
I’m from from Jersey if it’s red I call it sauce if it’s brown it’s gravy! 🤷♀️
That is what we say. Thanks for commenting and watching my video.

Anything that has meat is gravy
I guess im gravy now
There is so much to love about the east coast and I know that for a fact bc Im Italian and got family from Jersey and I can say her accent def passes, just love the Jersey accent. The southern accent seems pretty cool to listen to tho tbh.
Paul Bearer from the WWE was from Alabama, which is pretty cool.
Trenton new jersey baby
Check out all my accent videos here: czcams.com/play/PLRMOcOtSuZBnLAbWHRNPFGo1xxlBtDOb6.html
I like alabama accent , they stress the a to sound like an i
She has a deep Italian accent like she from northern jersey
Yes she does, she lives beside New York City.
Im from trenton lol north is nyc south like Philly Accent
peace to Alabama
New Jersey accent makes me mad, and that's coming from a Saskatchewanian living here who was raised around them. I kept the southern drawl from my aunt and uncle because I considered the NJ accent and dialect to be annoying.
Maybe like 15 people from Bergen County talk like her. That's not a NJ accent and she is definitely pushing it.
Jersey Girls are best of breed and don't pump gas!
calling sauce gravy is an italian thing
Yes I thought that too. Just the way she says that sounds Italian. Thanks for watching my videos.
oh no
She from the north don't nobody down in the south of Jersey call sauce gravy, and it's called pork roll..
She is from the New York City area
Very Good!... #181 ✝ {8-22-2023}
I did not I had an accent
Yea we call gravey sauce to us it doesn’t have he brown that’s a New Jersey thing
Y’all don’t know what southern gravy is. LOL. It is made with flour, milk and grease.
Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
More north jersey
No one in Italy calls sauce gravy.
Sorry that is we always thought. What do they call it?
No, sauce is gravy
To me red stuff is sauce and white stuff is gravy. I have never heard of red sauce on biscuits until she talked about it. I was shocked.
south jersey and north jersey are 2 different states lol😂 south jersey is much more influenced by philly and north jersey is much more influenced by new york
jersey shore is also awesome, i like florida but i’ve got way to many memories in sea isle city and wildwood and atlantic city
i think new jersey
Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
By the way it's not called Taylor ham it's called Pork roll just to lyk
What were we talking about?
Well I'm from Central Jersey and we don't say sauce that way you sound like you're from New York you're probably from North Jersey
Yes she is.
You are from Alabama and don't know what Tomato Gravy/Red Eye Gravy is, WOW. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt being from Alabama but in Louisiana Everybody Knows Tomato Grave over Biscuits for breakfast can't be beat. PS: Everyone I have ever met from Alabama knows Tomato Gravy.
Bill1370 No in the part of Alabama that we are from I have never heard or seen Tomato/red I gravy. Our family or my husband family has ever cooked it. I have never seen it in a restaurant menu. We do red sauce on spaghetti.
Bill1370 We use white grave with a sliced homegrown tomatoes on top and 1 time a year we have chocolate gravy on our biscuits.
@@TrueSouthernAccent Tomato Gravy ::: Start with flour, water, tomatoes(If you don't have canned tomatoes you canned you can use store bought canned tomatoes "Diced" Start by making flour gravy with water mixing in salt and pepper to your liking then pour in the tomatoes(Straight from can) and stir in to flour mixins adding water for desired thickness and then pour over biscuits. YUM YUM. Enjoy Fellow Southerner. OH: PS You can put some bacon grease for flavor added flavor.
I put your first comment on Facebook on my Facebook page True Southern Accent. I think Saturday. You will have to read the comments. I am not the only one that have never eat or heard of it. Oh and by the way. We ha e lived in 4 different states AL, TX, MS and now WV. I have never seen it on a menu or ever seen it I am 48 years old. Thanks for all you information about it. I am in shock too.
@@TrueSouthernAccent I live around Chattanooga Tennessee and my grandparents would make Red eye gravy.
I’m not sure where that lady is from, but no one from NJ says stik instead of steak, lmao!! The last supper is when you are in prison. NJ says coke lady!!
its nj we pump our fists not sauce we call it suace
It's illegal to pump your gas because the state is really big on making sure there are jobs for people by pumping gas. It's an economic thing the state has always had. It really makes sense and helps people out.
I remember it in Alabama in the 80’s. I wish we still had it in Alabama.
the way they dress gives them away
Every southern accent that isn’t Texan sounds like a parody
I'm from NJ and don't sound like that
Water is pronounced “Wudder” in Jersey.
Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
It's "wudda"
Jersey innacurate, we don't talk like that.
Exactly she's either from very North or New York
She’s from far north , jersey has almost 5 different sounding accent
Wrong. You may not talk this this, but it's still the new jersey accent. You probably talk with a standard boring California/North American accent.
The jersey girl was exaggerating her accent
@darell johnson Everyone has an accent
She wasn't. Everyone has an accent.
New Jersey 🤮
This chick from Jersey aint it. I'm from Jersey and we got biscuits for breakfast. She must be from North Jersey...the worst part of Jersey!
Yes she is.
She’s definitely not from North jersey
She lives outside of New York City. Thanks for watching my video.
I'm sure she is a nice lady, but something about the way that yankees talk makes them sound "not nice". Why is this? Too many mafia movies?
LOL the Sopranos ruin the accent for us. She is very nice and sweet. But I understand what you are saying about the accent in general.
Its not the accent, its the attitude
In my experience, and as someone from VA, NJ does not have an accent, culture, or anything other than crazy drivers and bad roads...
Thanks for commenting and watching my video.
Wrong
