    Tinkering and experimenting is what's most fun about tuning your car. :) Having the ability to do it is what makes us extremely privileged among the car enthusiast community. I love watching your videos about these small upgrades or mods that all add up in the end. :) I'm hoping to see dyno tests soon! That would be kickass.

      Yup, just waiting on one last part to be modified and I can start reassembly. Check for leaks, do an oil change and schedule for a retune and see what the power curve looks like.

    Theirs a place over , in the U,S [ America ] that cuts those center pegs out. plus plug up with alloy welds . Then powder coated . Might be a idea for you. on your excysting manifold. I want to do the same with mine [ mine is polish ]

      I don't want to do that because Nissan felt the need to have those supports there for a reason. I don't want the cast aluminum to crack over time.

    When it comes to 350Z manifolds. Air and power,it's best to just change it. In my opinion the best one's in the market today are: #1 the Top Secret Manifold. #2 The Merlin Holly manifold. #3 The Kinetix Manifold. All for 350Z/G35 engines single intake. You're welcome. 😊

      How much more power and where on the power curve do each of those manifolds do compared to the factory one with a spacer?

  • @kruzracing1692
    @kruzracing1692 Před 9 měsíci

    Would you spend the money and do the plenum spacer on the 2006 350Z Rev Up?
    Is there any reason not to do it?

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  Před 9 měsíci +1

      If you pair it with the MREV2 for sure. It fattens up the power curve in the mid range a lot and increases peak horse power a little.

      @@AnthonyJ350 thank you thank you. I will be doing conservative mods. Car is a 2006 with 13K miles.....YEP!

    That's exactly why I concentrated on reshaping those fat Horns to better help the air flow. The fat front Horns can easily be thin by 4mm or more.

      Thanks for sharing. What did your car dyno at after tuning?

      What did you do to minimize heat soaking of the whole aluminum assembly?

    • @stealthg35infiniti94
      @stealthg35infiniti94 Před rokem

      @@AnthonyJ350 I don't find Heat Soak to be an issue as important as correct airflow into the combustion chamber. I can't any difference in a warm engine that has been sitting vs one that has been running. Perhaps a Dyno could show a dicernamal difference. The reshaping of the Horns and plenum with polishing did make an obvious felt improvement.

      @@AnthonyJ350Clever Marketing perhaps, have you seen any independent test to prove results. I've seen for example cold air intakes on a same car, same dyno and found out most didn't do much better and sometimes worse than stock. Yes they made noise under the hood and lighten your wallet by hundreds of dollars.

    Is the 75mm throttle body any good on 350z/G35

  • @physics2817

    Curious…why hasn’t anyone drilled a hole in the front of the upper cover and spilt the air flow after the throttle body?
    Have 2 70mm intake ports, rifle barreled of course, streaming air 😳
    Or…Rifle barrel a Y after the throttle body pipping into to inlets on the top half!
