Another pattern made easy for all of us to enjoy; thanks Bonnie.
Wasnt a fan of the yarn at first, but it actually looks lovely up close.
Oh, and the model is beautiful ❤
I understand that Ramona. I've tried several of the Noro yarns and I'm now hitting on some that are pretty amazing. I love the colors and the feel of these yarns. I'm not as much a fan of the rougher varieties.
Loving that Scarf Bonnie ❤❤❤
Thanks!
Beautiful work Bonnie. ☮️🌍🌲
Thank you Jennie!
Of course.
Hi Bonnie, this is actually what I imagined you were going to do when you asked about granny squares, except I didn't think of you using the arrowe stitch! 😁
I can't get enough of u I can't stop watching so much to see
Welcome to my channel Debra!
ls that your daughter she look like you she pretty l like the. scarf. look good on her
Question? Could you just crochet onto the edge of the granny square…and then across the the extended edge of the granny square plus the arrow stitch row? Instead of having to join afterwards? I love the raised slip stitch join…but I’m thinking as a quilter…ha!
Just curious. I love this combination! ❤
You could but honestly, I didn't like the effect as well. I was much happier with the slip stitch join on the surface than hidden as well. Lots of possibilities, so feel free to improve it if you can!
Love the scarf. Granny squares are my fav but couldn’t you just continue into the arrow stitch instead of sewing all those pieces together? Btw the colors are awesome 😊
You possibly could, but that could be difficult to get all the arrows to go in the same direction.
I like the slip stitch be tween
Thanks! I tried another connecting stitch but the slip stitch looked so much nicer.
Bonnie I love the scarf . I have been searching for the Nishiki by noro, to no avail. The yarn appears to be discontinued 😢.. has anyone else been able to find it?? . Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you
Bonnie, I generally stay away from hassles, for this reason. My very first project was a shawl, and I put tassels all around the two sides. When I washed it. That tasseling turned into a hot mess. Any suggestions. I think that tassels add a bit of something. Please help.
Great question, and you are not alone. You can opt to just not add them if you wish. This yarn however, has been very forgiving and the tassels are staying together very well so far.
❤🧡💛💛💚💙💜
