  • Figuring out which payment processor to choose for your business can be confusing.
    There are a lot of factors to consider when you're choosing a payment processor - like the fees, the developer friendliness, and whether or not they offer recurring subscriptions.
    Whether you're wondering how you will take Shopify payments, you currently use PayPal or Stripe and want to see how Stripe fees and PayPal fees compare... or you just need to know how these two payment processors stack up, this video is for you.
    In this video, I compare Stripe and PayPal so that you can make an informed decision about which one is best for your business.

    Very valuable video! I always wondered which one I should use.
    I heard many people had issues with Paypal holding their money. And based on this video, Strip makes more sense to my membership and courses.
    Thank you, Nathalie!

      Yay I'm so glad this was useful for you Malek! Yes, PayPal has been known to hold people's funds - so having a great alternative like Stripe is awesome :)

    PayPal has a feature called auto sweep and it will automatically move funds to your bank account and will not charge you a fee. At least its not charging me to do the transfer nightly for my account. I did have to call PayPal support to get this setup. Love the video I'm thinking about switching to Stripe do to the fees on PayPal.

      Ooh thanks for sharing that inside info - I wonder if you get something special when you call. Because I know on the website it mentioned fees. Either way, super useful share!

    Hiya - is it possible to set up and use Stripe if you're an individual (which I am) as opposed to a business owner (which I am not)?

      Hello! I did a little research and yes, you can set up a Stripe account even if you haven't created a separate business entity. Here's what Stripe says about that:

    Do you have plans to integrate with Square?

    • @AccessAlly
      @AccessAlly  Před 2 lety

      Hi Tesia! We have this a feature request, but it's not on the "immediate roadmap" for development.
      Can you tell more about what you like or why you use Square so I can bring it back to our dev team?

      Yes, I would really LOVE if square was integration with AccessAlly because that’s the processing platform that I already use in my business, and I look to it to help me keep track of my financials in one place.

      Hi Vanessa!
      Yes, Stripe is definitely safe to use. It's a very well regarded company, if not the gold standard, when it comes to taking payments online!
