They had to find something to give Carolina a tech after Geno got one to try and help UConn. They saw it was a 10 point game and didn’t want UConn to lose by double digits..notice UConn moves up in rankings after a lost

I watched that game. That wasn't the only bad call, just the worst. You be proud of yourself. Us South Carolina's are proud of you all the way up to the top of heads. That's right.
That was a weak and totally unnecessary technical foul call on Kamilla who up until that point was dominating the game.That particular ref was trying to help UConn get even after Geno got hit with a legitimate technical foul for throwing his water bottle on the floor. Kamilla the Gamecock nation is proud of you.
Its a two way traffic. There were weak calls on both Uconn and SC. You can’t just say the refs were trying to help Uconn when infact many fouls were not called. If you need someone to blame its the ref for being inconsistent and the players
@@jenojam2854 I agree....one ref was very inconsistent and allowed way too much physical contact. Once both teams started to resort to that method then it becomes much harder to make legit calls.....However they did not determine the outcome of the game......the players did that.....go Gamecocks

That was a weak technical call. Refs also missed plenty of rough fouls, and missed the hand off inbounds play that SC got way with. That mistake cost Uconn a foul on Muhl and the ball. Great game overall, a lot closer than I expected considering Uconn's lack of depth

It was a foul but I agree with you on tech part refs at every level of mens and women's basketball are soft these days...they act like players can't get frustrated at themselves or show emotion

Looking at the game as a whole UConn could’ve won it but didn’t hit those needed shots. The refs made tons of crazy calls but it’s gon be like that when the game is close. You can only play your perfect game so it won’t come down to those calls. My LSU Tigers got their work cut out for them next week. I wouldn’t mind having our first loss against SC they’re an elite team that’s ready for the pros. Like coach Mulkey said she doesn’t expect to win against them but keep the game close would be great.

Slamming the ball against the floor is an auto tech, especially after you just fouled.
@Tracee She fouled out on the foul. The technical happened after she had already fouled out.
Refs were making up for that T that gave Gino few minutes earlier. Just shameful. Kordoso bounced the ball, she din't slam it.
@Tracee I agree....it was unnecessary and takes away from the flow and emotion of the game.... It's like the players have no right to peacefully proteset a call.....Hopefully the NCAA rules gets rid of that rule.

That was a cheap call on the tech. I didn't see the game but the bits I have seen lead me to believe the officials were not stellar.
The game went as expected. I told folks that without Fudd and Bueckers, the Huskies had no real chance of winning. South Carolina basically toyed with them, spotting them the early 11 point lead. They were never remotely worried about losing. South Carolina will repeat as Champions because they are women amongst girls. Besides a lack of versatility in offense, the Huskies can't compete with them on the Boards! Geno also got out coached, etc...
idk what your watching but that's a negative, they definitely wasn't toying with them. that is how SC is they are going to close a game and they better hope it doesn't happen in march
They did toy with them! Coach Staley (I'm sure) told them in the locker room that the Huskies will come out guns blazing and playing off a lot of emotion with crowd support, but all we have to do is withstand their onslaught and let things run its course and our super attributes will over take them in the long run. They bought into their coaches philosophy which is why they played so relaxed.
Plus if they play again at a neutral site, they definitely aren't beating SC.
Exactly! It'll be more of the same because I think Fudd and Bueckers are out for the remainder of the season, even if not, they aren't rebounders which is what the Huskies need to cut down on all of those second and third chance attempts by SC.
