It's been quite a few years since I regularly ran Call of Cthulhu. Now it's a 7th edition impatiently blowing through several things that I I loved running to being with. And of course making all my family play. This particular discussion has reminded me of many things that I used to do and why I used to do them. And inform me on a few things that I shall begin to incorporate. I think the biggest thing working against me at the moment it's time. Before my husband worked I was home with small kids. I had time to dry out huge mapson and workout and what their attitude and postures and manipulations might be our mechanicians might be. And now I find that I have not got much time at all. I just need to focus on scraping the other more minutes to be able to actively work on developing backdrop of campaign. Especially since we have just begun masks of nyarlathotep. I don't think I've ever made it to all the way through the campaign though no that's wrong I did actually. I had to say that there is a companion with the adventurer and lots and lots of more information available in PDF but I'm not really keen on PDFs I like to have hard copies. I'm enjoying the the new materials. My one gripe... That beautiful satin paper that's used I have to angle my book or look at it from the side or till sit around and try to find a point where I can actually read the thing without glare in my eyes. It's very fancy it's very beautiful but damn it you can't read the thing. Halo light I can't see the words and then highlight I can't see the page. As Chris and primitive as it sounds, I would love to have something on quality white paper. It would have a kind of price tag on it and I would be able to read it quickly and make notes in the margin and underline things with my pencil or highlighter which I can't do on the satin Pages even if I wanted to ruin them that way. All that and a bag of chips to say thanks for these presentations fun. Wesley bit of fun... What I do for a living it's billed wargame terrain and scenery. I was recently asked to make a game Masters screen for a client. And I'll begin working on something for myself. Show that to a friend and he insisted on buying it from me so here is a link to a keeper screen wall that I created that has dice-rolling Towers or two on the keeper side and 2 on the players side which I'll let you know how that impacts the speed of action could be cool. Here's the link.
