Today we're wrapping up Frostgrave Week with by unboxing the excellent Frostgrave Knights box set for second edition from North Star Military Figures.
Gerry is back with more Frostgrave for you all. This time he's unboxing a set of knights to join your warband. The sculpts are clean, highly detailed and the box provides a large variety of options for assembling some meat sacks in armour.
The set is hard plastic and allows you to build 10 different specialist soldiers, including Knights, Templars, Marksmen and Captains.
We also think this is great set for building up an Oathmark force too.

More Northstar Lego. Excellent. This range of minis has always been great for kitbashing. Nice to see the body options built up in possible poses.
These plastic sets are really incredible, you can mix the various figures, also because in a Fantasy setting there isn't any necessity of uniformity
awesome sculpts, detailed but not hard to paint, tons of customization but not to overwhelm, not hyper-dynamic poses but also not boring. Perfect balance
Thanks for the look inside the box. I like the options here - Between the 2-hand weapons, crossbow, lantern, and chicken you can just use the shields you like best. Leftover shields and weapons can decorate the terrain - part of a treasure pile, hanging over a doorway, or discarded in a snowbank.

These little blighters have so much character. They'll be a joy to paint, I bet.
Personally like the fact that they’re not “knights is shining armor”
Looks to be a very customizable set. Should be able to make a very nice war band with these.
Love the interchangeability of North Stars kits.
Frostgrave deserves much more recognition
Really like the style of them, they would also be ideal for D&D characters since they have this adventurer vibe to them - I will get some for sure in the future!
The North Star figures are superb, loads of options and plenty of bits left for your bits box.
Probably one of my favorite sets these. I really do love the frostgrave plastics!
Those sprues have enough variety to make completely different RPG miniatures. That's interesting and goes well with what Frostgrave geeks like.

Honestly there are some lovely bits on this spruce. The lantern arm, and quartered shield have to be my highlights.
I know I could just quarter any shield myself, but honestly sometimes I’d rather have an easy, pre-quartered option.
Really like that they are all very modular! And the best is: you get a ton of bits!
A nice set of head sculpts and great detail on the figures themselves.

My son and I like the kits. They enable us to create unique poses with a bit of imagination and kit bashing. Keep up the great work. Have a Happy New Year's holiday
Nice to see the amount of customization available in the sprues. From what I've heard you can also mix and match between the kits which leads to even more options.
I like the variety of options and these would work in so many games. The plucked chicken is a wonderful addition
The Knights mixed with some of the demon plastics could be some awesome kitbashes!
This is one of my favourite sets from North Star minis like the extra weapons and heads. I agree some of the shields are not that useful but there are other shields from other sets that are better. The bow with no hands is so useful . Great set.
They are pretty down to earth. I love it.
These are all lovely sets for any fantasy setting. I'm partial to the historical looking heads myself.
All those extra bits make this a seriously good deal.

I have Quite A Lot of the previous North Star boxes. They're brilliant and nicely scaled for Fireforge, Gripping Beast, etc.
Pretty cool! I just recently got the first edition of Frostgrave. Played it once and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to BIG world of Frostgrave. Thank you for posting these vids.

Nice varied selection of wee bits. I personally don't mind one or two lined kite shields, it makes it easier for my horried brush work to stay within the lines.
This is a great box! Great leftover bits afterwords for other projects... I have yet to assemble mine, but after seeing yours, i think i'll do a few this week, i do have a few gaps to fill in my warband anyway!

I guess it's good that they are releasing minis specific for frostgrave..they certainly fit the theme of the warband followers...I would more than likely buy these given the opportunity...they do look nice

I can see how the wood grain can be a little bit of an annoyance, but over all love the kit.
