In this video we travel to Buena Vista Colorado, to go crawling at the famous trail, Carnage Canyon. Carnage is a really fun trail, that has something to offer for everyone.
Thanks, Carnage is a great trail, you can fill part of a day on it, then run a nearby trail, like chinaman loop right next to it. That loop has a variety of obstacles that are fun for everyone!
There are quite a few resources, one you can ask someone who has been there before, but I typically use internet search. Internet search has been very helpful if you know the name of the trail you are looking for. They also sell books all around Colorado, that go in depth on each trail. I bought one of those at a gas station for the San Juans 10 years ago, and still use it.
I just found your channel today. I like your videos. Going back to the begging to watch them all when time allows. I get to Sand Hollow once or twice a year. Also would like to wheel Carnage Canyon, but would need to hook up with you guys to see the lines. Drag Axle LS Jeep.
Thanks! I have not been out to Sand Hollow yet, but I will one of these days. I you make it to Colorado, I would suggest Montrose, that's where I live, and we have quite a few trails to choose from, which is the only downfall of Carnage, is that its the only rock crawling trail in the area. There is a another fun trail nearby it, called Chinamens loop, but it is not very hard.
The Green and Black one are the same chassis, designed by Ultra 4 racer/builder Paul Horschel. Both run LS/TH400/Atlas, and one ton axles. The chassis are under 50 wide, and have a 110 inch wheel base. The back seat is very small, for kids only. The green one is a two seater, so the B pillar is pushed back farther. They ride very nice down the trail, and can crawl, or go fast.
@@wheelinoutwest Nice, I haven't seen one like that set up as a trail rig. Looks like they crawl and climb good, with plenty of travel, and no huge shock hoops. I was bench race building a new trail buggy the other day, and then when I saw this video, there it was! what's the spec on the shocks? 2.5x12s?
@@nicholascooper1193 yes, on mine they are Fox 2.5 x12. The other one is running the same with internal bypass. You are correct about that, you can get an amazing amount of travel, on shorter shocks, and it rides great too!
Music is one thing that’s tough, I use all types in my videos, country, metal, punk, hip hop, etc, hopefully you can look past that and enjoy the video itself.
Looks like that was a lot of fun!
It sure was! Carnage is always a fun trail!
Thanks for the video. Looks like a sweet trail and nice rigs. I’m from the east coast I’ll have to add it to my bucket list. 👍

Great video!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
@@wheelinoutwest smooth driving too
@@Colorado4x4 Thanks!
I took my modified Gen 3 4Runner up there. I was shitting myself to say the least 😂 gives you a good idea of what needs swapped out and upgraded
Nice, taking full bodied rigs up there will find the weak spots quick!
Thanks for posting!
What is the easiest way to locate trail heads in Colorado for a guy heading out for the first time.

Would be much better without the crud soundtrack.
