I remember using something similar to this build back in the day! Definitely improved and glad I can see the flaws without needing to be told, though it's still very fun and even competitive with top options if used properly! This is the perfect level of build crafting imo
and as we ascend the ranks, we find out how to be annoying a humanly possible... lol i love this series, look forward to them every morning.
I want to see a Cammy video where he goes in depth with a certain build that's clearly not very good, but he has full faith that it is. He goes into a match, loses his first engagement, you hear a slam on his desk and a yell then the rest of the video is just him AFK for the rest of the crucible match.
This class became my main in every activity, I adore it so much. It’s the fighting game class that let me dictate the pace of every PvP match myself, and dealt with every flavor of BS so effectively.

Ive been using skyburners with strand hunter, it slaps. You should try it out with the exotic that gives you woven mail on grapple.
As a current gold rank player: I much prefer the Stag and my swashbuckler steady hand. Also can't stand trying to use coldsnaps for the exact reasons you mentioned.

I thought that I was part of this rank of warriors. Above 2.0 kda and never been flawless. Haven't played that much comp, just chillin in Gold. In my lobbies I NEVER see the bxr and usually the players at the top of the kill feed (me included) will have double hundred stat splits or better. Recently I've gotten motivated to get better in pvp so I'm enjoying all these commentary vids

Used witherhoard and stasis lock when during Witch Queen. Sadly I got no hate mail. Also whisper of rending with fighting lion one shot before the health changes. I haven't tested since then though.

quick question, do you not use Empowering with freeze rift anymore? Haven’t tested myself but I know it used to be like empowering animation ends quicker than the Healing for that quicker sluggy boi to the face for the orb(reaper)

Not all powered melees activate BxR perk. If you have to slide or sprint to melee, it won't activate.
Using void titan with Pcks and cloudstrike is the best way to go ascendant 3 no losses, or u can also use smg with shotgun
Fun fact! Not only do coldsnaps get stuck in the floor, they also get trigger on control points too sometimes, at least in iron banner! I am in pain, been a shafebinder main for ages and it is agony sometimes guedding what the hell my coldsnap will do

This is pretty much my build, but I use Cryostesia for an extra source of freeze, and I'm not that good, so I don't get much special ammo

Use Jotunn for like 5 games and learn how people fight you when you’re using it. Then stop using Jotunn and apply what you’ve learned

You know what’s hilarious, I see this shit happen and I’m yelling at my tv. People all run off and lose their 1’s, they don’t wait for teammates to respawn before pushing, no on the fly adjustments to their loadouts. It’s infuriating.
I'd argue that Gold is full of the, "get gun and get out" crowd.

Hi! I’m gold and have triple 100s. I’m just stupid and have way too big of an ego so I challenge a lot of things I shouldn’t. Got gold as placement and haven’t played much to be fair. But I doubt I’m much more than a gold either.
I’ll keep it 100, I’m not convinced people use builds until after plat, and was like plats filled with monarch and wishender spam. I say all this with my solo queue experience in mind.
Finally got my rank 10000 ascendant, god slayer title paragon level 11, and my seasonal flawless on my emblem…..

i would love to queue more in comp but due to comp's bad rep, i cant get any of my friends into pvp, let alone comp pvp lol. and soloq matchmaking feels too terrible when you play well and get botwalkers on your team.
I have builds for all characters with 7-10-10 stats on the dot, but I'm gold 1. guess there's a platinum player sleeping somewhere deep inside me.
Pulses always felt off for me,
they aren't full tracking guns, but they also aren't full pacing guns
