I'm a firefighter and when the pandemic hit it hurt my physical fitness pretty hard and I lost my sense of community. I've felt awful for the past few years and had some lower back pain from the sheer lack of physical fitness. I realized how much of a burden/liability I was shaping up to be to my crew by neglecting my strength and cardio. I'm pretty big on the idea of community and Seth you're the first one in this community who really motivates me to get and STAY strong. Apart from your general energy, enthusiasm and knowledge I really liked the message you had in the middle of your workout at the 12 minute mark about the good and bad days in the gym (had one this morning after having too much cardio prior to my back workout).
This video also inspires me to get a huge whiteboard!

Push/Pull/Legs changed my physique. Being able to hit each body part 2x per week (5-6 days a week) really compounded the results I saw weekly. And the PUMP was effin' nutz. Being able to fill out a XL PUMP COVER really turns the heads. Great shit Seth!
Same with me. I was on low carbs and less calories during 3 month PPL workout. After 3 months my friends told me I look so lean.

Seth i just wanna say thanks for the one tip on underhand barbell rows on a previous back chalkboard video.For the first time in 14-15 years of training i can now feel my lats contracting with 1-2 plates.3 plates i do what i call a grip it and rip it style.More of an easier version.Totally bent with 1 or 2 plates is way harder than it sounds.

Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. Even on days where I felt like I didn’t have a great workout I was still glad I went in and put effort into it.
Maybe u should have taken a rest day and perhaps did better the following than to do a sub par workout...I dunno but i listen to my body ...i also play a lot of sports and am very active so my body eventually gives in on some day

People ask me for workout advice and I send them this way. It’s more than going through the motions and each video takes one through the thought process.
Cause it gets old explaining things that we actually have learned through trial and error, nutrition, etc when half the time these people asking questions do not live the lifestyle they usually train for three months, get impatient and quit

I do push pull legs but 6 days a week. Just prioritize separate body parts within the push, pull, and legs split.
What are the things you are looking out for to get your back activated when you are doing the barbell rows and lats pulldown?
I saw you trying to use the momentum to pull the weights down, when doing lats pulldown. Is this necessary or try to minimise that momentum movement?

* Any advice for big gym Atmosphere? I go to a big public gym, VASA here in Phoenix. So super sets are hard. Working around groups of folks or people filming themselves. Sometimes following the super sets is difficult. Any ideas (skip the super set or come back to it when it’s open?) or just be patient and get on the equipt when I can? Maybe options for super sets? Trying not to sound like a p*ssy 😂

I write down a pool of workouts. Everything for chest, back, legs. Shoulders and arms. Then I build a 5 day workout doing full body, every day. So it's the same amount of exercises for every body part as a bro split...but every muscle stays stimulated all week. I've had the biggest transformation with symmetry that I've ever had. My strength isn't as good as with a bro split. But I fuckin love feeling pumped all week in every muskle.

So I tried to run a PPL a while back and my joints (mainly elbows) couldn't take it the frequency of push. Ended up going back go a "pro split" and everything felt better. Any advice to try and help with that other than the usual support? Or am I pretty much SOL? lol
