@@dbd4596wat about the people Israel killed before that. Let’s talk about how Israel help Hamas to compete with Arafat. How about how Arafat was poisoned. Israel is not innocent. How about when Clinton got Israel and Arafat to agree on a two state resolution but then a Zionist killed their pm. Their is radicle beliefs on both sides
If you want to play this game of going back in time.. The Romans expelled the Jews from their land by force in 70 AD. The land was still theirs by default ever since.
Let's make this real simple. Resistance groups like Hamas would not have any reason to exist if there is no occupation or oppression that they need to fight against. Give Palestinians their due right for dignified self determination, and the Hamas problem will sort itself out.
When their demand is the return of all the land - not a 2 state solution, but all of it - how are the Jews supposed to do that? Where will they go? Or shall they concede power and trust that the Palestinians will let them live peacefully and unmolested under their rule? The same people who keep making public media speeches ordering their people to kill every Jew on sight. Their children have Barney the Dinosaur type children's shows telling little kids to kill the "Jewish pigs". All of this oppression would not have existed in the first place had they been willing to peacefully live side by side.
It is simple Palestine has always rejected peace and called for the extinction of Jews. They are hated across the middle east and were set up for just what they are getting. They are lucky Israel shows such restraint, no-one else would and there are palestinians and arabs living in peace in Israel.
No occupation since 2005 as this with a factor to obtain PEACE. the OPRESSION is so called Border control. Would you like Mexicans to just walk into America with no check at all? Or how about Russians to enter the EU with no checks? as a PALESTINIAN man quoted "Gaza could've been like Singapore yet all the money went into tunnels and guns".
Even Simpler: Israel's high-tech weapon's industry would not be so profitable if they did not have a testing ground so close to make their weapons acquire the coveted "combat proven" tag. A state of manageable war is still within the best interests of Israel's elites.
Has HAMAS attacked any other nation other than Israel? The concept of resistance is strange to the Western World. They have historically labelled every resistance movement as terrorists; from Mau Mau in Kenya to uMkhonto We Sizwe and Nelson Mandela in South Africa. History will probably celebrate HAMAS as a liberation movement, just as has been the case with two I have mentioned above!!!

I’ve thought for a long time that Hamas firing rockets or attacking civilians was the wrong strategy, and obviously wrong morally. If they’d focused on armed resistance against the occupying government / armed forces as well as the occasional attempts at diplomacy, I think they’d have been in a much better position now. But having said that, it’s easy to imagine if any other country’s land and population had been colonised, occupied and placed under siege for decades, that they’d also resort to such extreme actions too. So to just blanket condemn Hamas I think is a bit of a ridiculous position.
When Hamas launches rockets, their goal is not necessarily to target or kill Israeli civilians. The rockets often have relatively weak explosive power, and Hamas is aware that the Iron Dome intercepts more than 90% of the launched rockets. Instead, Hamas seems to focus on putting pressure on the Israeli government and disrupting the economy by targeting infrastructure such as docks and airports. And they have prioritized improving the range of the rockets rather than increasing their explosive power.
@@abdalrhmansallam3119 Exactly, but you launch one relatively weak rocket and Israel uses that as an excuse to retaliate excessively, and the west buy it completely. It just doesn’t make sense to provoke Israel and give them any excuse for an extremely heavy handed response,
@@abdalrhmansallam3119 You're actually wrong about the Palestinian rockets and the Israeli iron dome It is very impressive and surprising that despite living under a tight blockade in the Gaza Strip and lacking sophisticated military capabilities, Palestinians in the tiny besieged enclave have been able to manufacture their own projectiles. The use of projectiles, mainly rockets and mortars, by Palestinians is part of the reason why the Israeli occupiers left the Gaza Strip in 2005. Over time, Palestinians have developed bigger, faster, longer-range and more effective rockets. They may be somewhat primitive, but they can still inflict damage on the Israeli occupiers and their infrastructure. Rockets fired by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip into the occupied territories are not as ineffective as many believe. For example, on 29 September 2004 Hamas fired two rockets, both which were about 4 feet tall, into the occupied city of Sderot, which resulted in the death of two Israelis and the injury of more than twenty others, according to the Israelis. On 11 September 2007, PIJ and the PRC fired two rockets into the kibbutz of Zikim, killing at least one Israeli soldier and injuring more than seventy others. The Israeli occupation’s defense systems, like the Iron Dome, which is programmed to prevent projectiles from hitting buildings and populated areas, however, are not as helpful or efficient as they were made to be and are unable to stop all incoming projectiles, which even some Israelis have admitted. If they really were, people in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and the Sinai Peninsula would stop firing projectiles into the territories under Israeli control. The number of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip intercepted by the Israeli Iron Dome is far less than 90%, according to experts like Richard Lloyd, Theodore Postol, David Axe, Reuven Pedatzur and Mordechai Shefer. Most of the claimed “interceptions” are the Iron Dome missiles themselves self-destructing after missing the intended incoming Palestinian rockets targeted. In most cases, the warhead of the rocket remains untouched, while structural damage to the body of the rocket simply sets it off course. The rockets are then landing with the warheads still attached - either exploding on impact or becoming an unexploded munition, risking lives. Postol found evidence that only about 5% of Iron Dome engagements result in the targeted rocket being destroyed or even sufficiently damaged to disable its explosive warhead. In the other 95% of cases, the interceptor either misses entirely or just lightly damages the enemy munition, allowing the rocket’s intact warhead to continue arcing toward the ground.

From what I can gather, The UK bombarded Palestine for a while until they and Palestine reached an agreement to split Israel and the West Bank between the two before Jews settled into Israel. It was first mentioned in 1150 BCE in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. *In Hebrew, the name Palestine (פלשת) and the name Philistine (פלשתי) are pretty much the same, and Philistine literally means One Of Palestine. The Philistines are descendants of the Casluhim, who were sons of Mizraim, son of Ham, son of Noah (Genesis 10:14). ******** Peleshet (פלשת Pəlésheth)- usually translated as Philistia in English, is used in the Bible more than 250 times. In the Torah / Pentateuch the term is used 10 times and its boundaries are undefined. The later Historical books (see Deuteronomistic history) include most of the biblical references, almost 200 of which are in the Book of Judges and the Books of Samuel, where the term is used to denote the southern coastal region to the west of the ancient Kingdom of Judah.

Israel needs to relegate itself based on the 1917 Jewish land possession records, which is still extant, from the time the British was just about to enter Palestine. Incredibly useful context for how Hamas became the political, social + military force that we know today 👏 Fair to say most of us didn't know most of what's covered here
They gloss over certain facts like how Hamas have admitted the safety of the people of Gaza is of no concern to them. The people matter, children matter, and fascist, right-wing governments really try to make their own narrative of who is the bad guy and who isn't. It is much bigger than we see, and the hostage taking wasn't the beginning of this. Let's try not to fall into one narrative for there are many, some are true, and many are false.
I appreciate your honesty; more people in the West who are not Muslim and Brown need to stand up for these people and say that!
I absolutely agree.
It just doesn’t make sense to provoke Israel and give them any excuse for an extremely heavy handed response,
@@abdalrhmansallam3119
You're actually wrong about the Palestinian rockets and the Israeli iron dome
It is very impressive and surprising that despite living under a tight blockade in the Gaza Strip and lacking sophisticated military capabilities, Palestinians in the tiny besieged enclave have been able to manufacture their own projectiles.
I imagine they want the people who have stolen their land to give it back.

Well known example is Dr. Barbara Zind, a Grand Junction, U.S.A. pediatrician. Not only is she American but also a Jew.
Zind in one of her last messages before evacuation from the Strip wrote that Pals shared gas and cooking utensils with her group of foreign workers. She wrote “It’s just amazing how they are, hospitable and generous.” Amira Haas, the Jewish journalist working for Ha'aretz also lived in the Strip for a time after the army left.
