Only complaint is they didn't record the in-game mics instead of direct from mics to get the proximity effect which is one of the funniest parts of this game

We *need* the in-game mics if you do this again. I know it's probably a lot more difficult to edit together the perspectives using each person's independent audio, but the proxy chat is *the* main reason this game is entertaining to watch. I'm sure you can make it work.
Also, please get the Bigger Company mod so all seven of you can play this together. That would be so fun.
They use each person's audio anyways or else 1 person would sound good and the rest of them would sound like lower quality discord audio
@@Illhelppwn Using the game audio would make it better. Immerses you into the game more. With the game being silent and just their voices clear as day kinda ruins it. It makes it seem more like they are just doing commentary of the gameplay and not actually them playing it

Their using the proxy chat. They either didn't record their game audio or the editors edited it so we could hear them better, which is something the editors would do.

edit: I know my grammar was iffy but what I meant was in the edit I knew they were in proximity chat during the game :p. They've done edits like this in Amongus proximity and it was funny as hell.

@@9fran9rosatti9 it would be the same editing wouldn't it? They would have 4 different voice recordings associated to each person, just sync it all up at the start and edit freely
A couple more tips: If someone wants to stay in the ship to help the crew, to do that access the terminal and type view monitor, from there you can open doors, disarm turrets and mines and send them a message without using the walkie talkies, also maybe take it turns doing that, so then everybody gets to experience going in the buildings. Secondly if you pick up a big item that uses both hands and come across a small item, drop the big item and pick up the smaller one, then pick the big one up again as you have 4 slots (basically fill 3 slots with small items)
This game is too complicated for them with their current lifestyle, especially with their schedule they don't have time to research game mechanics, this might very well be their only vid playing the game.

They did, thats why they couldn't here each other when they got out of range. They just recorded their mic audios instead of their game audios and so we heard that instead

Honestly I agree, with more people it's more chaotic but also there's more progress. Especially with that in-game proximity chat- people start suddenly screaming and they go silent cause they got killed. It's hilarious.

Note to sidemen editors : Use proximity chat (perspective of whoever's cam is on). It is a horror game, it's meant to be immersive.
Use the face cams less and show reactions to things more than general
Cut the music, use the in game sounds.

You guys need to use the in game voice chat. Trust me. It add to the immersion and makes the game so much funnier and scarier. Don’t forget about the 40 player mod. Can get even more people to play at the same time.
They did use prox chat just editors used the discord chat instead of ingame chat for the video so editors L for that

It’s great to see jj playin these semi horror games with the group 😄
They should install the mod to have more than 4 people in a lobby. Its really simple to get and easy to install, all that is needed is the actual mod zip file and then dragging it in the steam directory and extracting. It would be awesome to see all 7 sidemen play this at the same time!

I have been waiting for them to make a Lethal Company video since the game came out. This game fits the Sidemen perfectly.
it does fit them perfectly, but I think they're too boomer to play it seriously now. only josh, vikk and simon have the patience and brains. rest of them just piss around and have no chance of ever completing a mission
The title and the way they set up their communication makes me think they’re no longer gamers like they used to be

NOTES : USE THE INGAME VOICE CHAT.. ITS PROXIMITY CHAT WHICH IS THE COMEDIC PART OF IT 😭🙏
Sidemen Lethal Company rules:
1. When you have metal items in rain, you can still take them back to the ship just drop them when the warning comes and the electric sound starts, then pick it up then repeat till the ship.
2. Different monsters have different ways to get past them, for example the coilhead monster needs someone constantly looking at them - you should have someone look these up it helps if one person knows the ropes with the monsters.
3. You can access an item shop, this will let you buy things like stop signs, walkie-talkies, flashlights etc. After you order, you find it by listening to the ice cream van music, to collect your items in the delivery rocket.
4. Use proximity chat, you’re supposed to not be able to talk to each other without walkie-talkies.
5. Someone should usually stay on the ship with a walkie-talkie, they can communicate danger, open doors, disable turrets etc. (you need a walkie-talkie to hear another walkie-talkie, but usually one per group is fine because of proximity chat). Finding keys allows you to open doors which the computer would otherwise be needed for, but it can’t disable or warn you about things so the ship person is better.
6. You can check the conditions of the moons you land on, on the selection on the computer, if it’s rain/eclipsed it could be more difficult to navigate.
7. Always scan rooms. Certain things on the floors can be land mines, don’t touch these, turrets are also bad.
8. Use mods in order to allow for more people to join, and add some fun.
9. If the ship flies off without anyone in it, you lose everything - don’t do this. But if everyone is dead apart from one person on the ship, you can use the vote to leave earlier to let the person know you’re gone.
10. Bee hives are serious money, get these if you can, one person needs to sacrifice themselves and distract the bees, while another grabs the hive. There is a way to solo this by grabbing and dropping the hive, but it might be more complicated. Get it onto the ship so the bees don’t come back, or leave it on the back of the ship if there are bees nearby.

hope this becomes a small series! some tips for next time:
- bigger company mod will allow more than 4 crewmates. could add the rest of the guys + usual among us lobby for some good times
- use the in-game proximity chat in the edit, it's the best part
- no need for overlaid music, the in-game sounds make it more immersive
- maybe have 1 person who slightly knows what to do to lead the chaos
