Welcome. Just recently started collecting too. I need to get out my dolls from the 80s and 90s and redress them. Maybe I could remember their original outfits?
There were also the Hard Rock Cafe Barbies from around 2007, those were stunning!
There is also a whole series of chic dolls Hard Rock Cafe Barbie they came out from 2003 to 2009
It’s funny you mentioned the Brazil only release of that rock star Barbie! Did you know that in Brazil a local company called Estrela (star in English) licensed Mattel’s IP and our dolls were slightly different from the ones from the “mother ship”. Later Estrela broke up with Mattel and resumed making their fashion doll called Susie whose body was curvier and more in line with the majority of Brazilians. 😂
The Grand Ole Opry is an iconic country music venue in Nashville - it even has its own live radio broadcast of all of the performances, and sometimes now video streams too!! There’s actually a set of 2 or 3 Opry Barbies, but everyone from Elvis and Johnny Cash to Dolly Parton to Taylor Swift and Keith Urban has played on that stage - and a bunch of modern pop artists too!!

Rappin, rockin Barbie was the first Barbie I ever bought for myself when I was 12. I had other Barbies, but I fell in LOVE with this one and I was so proud that I bought it with my own babysitting money. Thanks for the memories!!
GRAND OLE OPRY is a country western music hall in the US and also the name of one of the longest running Radio series in US history--Since 1926! which naturally was centered on concert performances.

The 2006 Fashion fever Nikki doll is also amazing, and the main doll of the dairy could also be count as one.
I actually originally had her in but cut her out. She didn’t have a guitar or microphone or anything so it seemed to me that she was more in a rockstar style than an actual rockstar if you get what I mean. Maybe I should’ve included her

I finished my Barbie and the Sensations collection just today having found a Bopsy in good, boxed condition! I remember all the music dolls from the 80s and 90s, but for some reason, the Sensations line really resonates with me and my childhood. Great video x

Hi Joey, I believe you left out the Fashion Show Barbie 2004 who could transform ''From Rocker to Glam'' as stated on the box. She came with a fur jacket, mini tee and a mini skirt with a pair of oversize boots. Her glam look was a sequined top and a satin gown with feather boa. Let me know if I am wrong.😉

What about the Barbie American Idol dolls?
The Grand Ole Opry is a famous country music stage based in Nashville Tennessee. Many (if not all) country music stars perform on that stage.
Paramore has performed there and they’re rock not country (but they are Tennessee legends)
There's also an American Idol Barbie line from 2005! I have one , found secondhand at a market stall with one of her original outfits :)

Barbie Rock in royals was always for me a barbie Version of Disneys Camp Rock.
I got my last barbie in 1986 as Diva from barbie and the rockers. Luved her. Wish I still had her.

14:10 that Barbie set was my very first Barbie. My aunt gave it to me for Christmas with a fashion pack. I even brought the doll with me to the Barbie movie recently.

On the note of Rock Star Barbie and the CD, you might be thinking of Bratz Rock Angelz, which came out a year later. I very disinctly remember having a mini-CD that had the main Rock Angelz song on it. That CD would've either come with a doll or the DVD, but I'm leaning towards the dolls.
The sensations doll is how I remember Barbie from the rockers film with the ponytail and skirt.

when i was a kid i had a taylor swift barbie doll that sang teardrops on my guitar. the doll had long curly blond hair and came with a guitar that could be worn around her neck with the included strap. my friend had the love story version of this doll.

Now, I'm 40 years old and in the last few years I've started collecting Barbies again. I have that Ariana Grande-ish pop star one and the Brooklyn Big City Big Lights one. It actually plays music and lights up. It's so weird but fun.

omg i have the barbie and the beat cassette!! idk where exactly I got it, but it was probably just in the giant box of barbie stuff I got at a yard sale cause it was full of random 80s/90s barbie stuff, I think the orange jacket from that line was also in there. love these lists, it's so fun to see where some of my favorite pieces growing up actually came from and learn if I had the full outfit.

Me and my sister had the Beyond Pink Barbie and Christie dolls, and we loved them so much! We listened to that Beyond Pink casette ALOT! The album is on Spotify now, and even after not hearing the songs in such a long time, I could still sing those lyrics! 😂

I also got the 2015 Barbie singing princess dolls. Barbie Rock n royals.
And the 2019 rock star barbie with the mic🎤 I got her from Target only $18.50,
And I also got the Barbie in 2021 singer who only sings two words so not great from Metal.😢

Hey Joey, I've binged so many of your videos recently. As recent as a few days ago, I got into doll collecting and have been loving seeing your love for Barbie though, she's not really up my alley. But I have to ask, do you know about her Coca Cola dolls? There's quite a few of them, primarily made from the '90s to early 2000s. I bought so many of them because I am a Coca Cola aficionado, and they're so cute! Would love to see if you have any of them, or watch you talk about them in a video!

The best of the bunch here is definitely Pop Sensation Barbie, she's awesome! I have her and she's fun to play with. I also have Chat Divas and wow, she is a weird doll but I love her 🤣 Of course, the Princess and the Popstar ones since they're from the Barbie movie franchise. 😌
I thought you might include Dance Moves Barbie, while she is a Dancer, she has a mic there and a group. 🤣

Wow, thanks :) As a child in the 80's my favorite was Barbie and the Rockers. I also owned Club California Barbie and Dance Club Barbie which both came with music..I didn't mind their music but liked the music of Jem and the Holograms and the Misfits more. Some of the Diva collection Barbies are nice too and I really like the Hard Rock Cafe Barbie that came with a cello! Looking forward to more videos :)

And I really, really wanted the two dolls in 2012 Tory and Kira , princess and pop star,
and I did get them both dolls in the same op shop, this year in OCTOBER 2022.

I used to love my pop sensations Barbie. There’s a picture somewhere of me and her on my dad’s lawn tractor. If I can find my Barbies at my mom’s house, I’m sure she’ll be with them (though the stereo and the platform that she would dance on are probably MIA).
