I’ve been looking into Airbnb for snow birding there this coming winter (2-3 months, Jan- March) n some of these places are $3k/ mo. And up😮!
Man I can’t afford that on a fixed income, I mean I save but Florida is becoming the least affordable place for snow birding.
Also, wish that on these rental sites there was a filter for “walkable neighborhoods “, I mean who can rent for that price n pay for a car rental for 2-3 months?
You mentioned a list of things renters should ask selves, having NO car and a walkable area should be on that list of wants!
Stayed at Breakaway Inn at Lauderdale by the Sea, you mentioned you are in LBTS.
Wanting to go there because I absolutely loved it there, again can’t find anything I can afford. There’s also not a lot to choose from on Airbnb😞
top tip, have plenty of money. in new smyrna it will cost at least 4000 a month. you could maybe find something a little less but good luck.
