The Charlton defence were glad when the ref blew the final whistle, especially Kishishev who was probably dizzy for the rest of the weekend.

Owen? Luis Garcia? Even Rooney who admittedly was built like a little bull peaked at 22-23 and then started slowly to lose steam. What did Bojan Krkic do in Stoke City? Pedro is actually having a nice little career in Chelsea but he’s well experienced and also he’s more of a finisher than a winger (less time with the ball in his feet). Alexis had 2-3 good years and now he’s a joke. Messi at 19 in the late ‘00s would be eaten alive.

They’re all 6 feet (1,80) or taller with extreme endurance and strong physique. And do you know who the best dribbler is in the PL now? Adama Traore with 5.9 successful dribbles per game. Yes he’s short but he’s built like a tank, because that’s how you survive that abuse.
